As a high-proficiency teaching methodology,situational approach has been widely applied to various subjects in recent years.For senior high school mathematics,teachers should make developing students’ mathematical core literacy as their main aim when employing situational approach.Firstly,teachers should have a deep investigation into new curriculum standard,analyze the textbook,get to know students’ level and real needs,and do their best to create appropriate questions and situations to integrate mathematical knowledge into specific situation.On this basis,teachers should guide the students to practice and explore in a familiar or integrated context,so that students can master basic mathematics knowledge and skills,enhance thinking ability in the process of solving situational problems.During this process,students can develop their ability to analyze and solve problems from the perspectives of mathematics,and therefor they can get a all-round development.Situational approach is a kind of teaching method to make up for the defects of traditional teaching.Situational approach emphasizes students’ subjective status.It tries to stimulates students’ learning motivation as well as desire for knowledge by creating appropriate situations,so that students can actively participate in learning activities.Situational approach attaches importance to students’ practice and exploration.It cultivates students’ participation awareness and practical ability by encouraging students to acquire knowledge and experience through personal practice and exploration.In the process of mathematics teaching,mathematical knowledge can be understood easier by students with the action of situational approach,and teachers can also improve their teaching effect.Situational approach can also enhance students’ mathematical thinking ability and quality,cultivate students’awareness and ability of mathematical application,and help students form correct mathematical view.Educational teaching is a progressive process.Under different education policies and ideas,situational approach has different development goals.Nowadays,our country advocates people-oriented concept of education,requires the development of core literacy development system,and earnestly implement the fundamental task of setting up Germany and rearing people through the cultivation and development of the core literacy of each discipline.This paper is put forward in this context.By studying the situational approach based on mathematical core literacy,we find the advantages and disadvantages of cultivating students’ mathematical core literacy,and obtain valuable teaching experience from the research.According to the results of this study,we can exchange teaching methods,improve students’ learning efficiency as well as teachers’teaching quality.And while promoting the development of situational approach,the students’ mathematical core literacy can also be cultivated.Although the application of situational approach in mathematics teaching has got great achievements,there are still many deficiencies,which makes the effect of situational approach be discontent.This paper mainly studies situational approach based on mathematical core literacy.It includes both the analysis and research of the current application situation of situational approach in the high school mathematics classroom,and the teaching principles and strategies of situational approach based on mathematical core literacy.First of all,it discusses some relevant concepts and theoretical basis of both situational approach and core literacy,then the character and function of situational approach based on mathematical core literacy are described in detail.After that,it analyze the current application of situational approach in high school mathematics classroom by case analysis.The research mainly contains three aspects,the choice of situational approach material,the method of creating situation,as well as students’participation in situational approach.The conclusion about situational approach application is formed.Finally,it put forwards some specific teaching principles and strategies for situational approach based on mathematical core literacy.It is hoped that this research can help to cultivate and develop students’ core literacy in mathematics.
