| On January 17,2017,UNESCO released the latest report on the global campus bullying situation in Seoul,South Korea.The report shows that nearly 246 million adolescents and children in the world each year because of gender,sexual orientation,race and culture differences,physical features etc.have been bullied,and the frequency of bullying on campus cannot be ignored.The harmfulness of bullying on campus is obviously.It not only harms the physical and psychological aspects of suffer bullying students,but also brings many negative effects on students’ learning and normal social activities.Frequent experiences of bullying can lead to bullies suffering from feelings of inferiority,tiredness,depression,anxiety and many other adverse reactions.Students who bully others,if cannot correct their behavior in a timely,will gradually develop a tendency to become violent,leading to a path toward crime.The British government and academic circles paid close attention to the phenomenon of bullying in schools earlier.After many years of theoretical and practical exploration,it has formed a unique"protection net" for the governance of bullying in schools.This study uses literature,comparative research and case studies to explore the phenomenon of bullying in the UK and its bullying prevention strategies.The introductory part of the first chapter mainly includes the reasons for the author’s selection of the topic,the research significance of the topic,the domestic and foreign research status quo in detail,and defines the concept of campus bullying,and explains the research method of this paper.The second chapter first quoted a representative survey of UK youngsters’ campus bullying phenomenon published on the Ditch The Label website in the United Kingdom.Through analysis of the survey report,the frequency,bullying behavior and bullying of British schoolyard bullying were analyzed.The characteristics of the role of the bully and the bullied person,whether they chose to inform others about bullying and the influence of bullying and being bullied were introduced in detail.Afterwards,several typical types of bullying in the UK were summarized and discussed.The third chapter is mainly about the study of British campus bullying prevention and control strategies.Based on the analysis of the UK campus bullying phenomenon in the previous article,this chapter mainly clarifies the responsibilities and treatment mechanisms for UK anti-campus bullying at the national level,local government education sector level,school level,family education level,and social welfare organization level.First of all,the policy and legal security system introduced at the national level in chronological order is mainly divided into two stages from the 1970s to the end of the 1990s and the end of the 90s to the 2020s;secondly,Surrey is selected as a case from Surrey.The county’s description of the concept of bullying and guidance on issues related to it,Surrey County’s requirements for its own schools but the requirements for bullying in schools,and guidance for dealing with bullying analyze the roles and functions of local government education departments in the anti-campus bullying system.The role,once again,selected the Mount Pleasant School as a case school to explore how to prevent and deal with campus bullying incidents between students.After that,it briefly explained the family education order and social charity organization as a reflection of the functions of the campus bullying prevention system.The fourth chapter is the commentary analysis of the anti-campus bullying prevention and control strategy in the UK and its reference significance to our country.The evaluation part mainly focuses on the active prevention of bullying incidents in British schools from the active prevention of bullying incidents to the occurrence of incidents,reporting mechanisms,comprehensive processing,and tracking of follow-up developments to summarize the UK’s anti-campus bullying prevention and control strategies.Analysis lays the foundation.In the reference to our country,the government should improve the laws and regulations of school bullying,schools should establish a sound governance mechanism,family and social institutions should cooperate with schools to establish a linkage mechanism and the government,schools,and society should form a collaborative cooperation mechanism.Four parts are elaborated.The final part is the conclusion,through the summary of the anti-campus bullying governance in the UK,put forward some of his own views and suggestions,and finally look forward to our country can build a long-term mechanism to ensure campus security,can effectively promote the physical and mental health of students,and then achieve a harmonious campus Construction.This article hopes to study the anti-campus bullying prevention strategy in the UK,in order to play a role in enlightening our country’s anti-campus bullying governance. |
