Study Of School Bullying Governance In Public Schools In California

School bullying has always been a thorny issue in the world.In the past few years,public school bullying incidents have occurred frequently and become more and more serious in our country.The abuser and bully shows a trend of younger age,and the concealment of bullying is also increasing.It is urgent to solve the problem of bullying in schools.California is the most populous state in the United States,and its public school bullying governance work has achieved remarkable results.California,the most populous state in the United States,in order to solve the problem of campus bullying,the public school has formed a cooperative governance system with the participation of government,school,family and society.Learning from the experience of school bullying management in California public schools can help to solve the problem of school bullying in China.This research mainly uses the literature research method,the comparison research method and the case analysis method.The research starts with the analysis of the society,the family as well as the school background of California public school campus bullying governance,then analyzes the current situation of bullying governance in California from the aspects of the main body,content,approach and effect of governance.Next,the research chooes “Gentle Warrior”program,which is the most widely implemented anti-bullying program in California,to analyze the specific programs of prevention and intervention.Furthermore,it summarizes the effectiveness of anti-bullying management in California,it shows that the incidence of bullying in public school is decreasing year by year,the anti-bullying measures are improving,the students and their parents’ anti-bullying awareness is increasing.While,there are still some issues in the governance of bullying.Finally,based on the experience of school bullying management in California public schools and the actual situation of school bullying in China,this paper puts forward the enlightenment like formulating the anti-bullying special law,establishing the multi-subject joint governance system,perfecting the school bullying governance mechanism,strengthening the anti-bullying class culture construction and playing the role of network governance guidance.The research analyzes the school bullying management in California public schools,in order to provide a useful reference for China public school bullying management.
