With the development of the times, the society urgently needs high-quality laborers and skilled talents, while secondary vocational education is mainly to educate skilled personnel for social modernization construction, and it focuses on cultivating students'professional competence. In recent years,in the process of continuous reform and development of secondary vocational education, the Ministry of Education has explicitly proposed to develop teaching methods with the characteristics of secondary vocational schools, intensify the training objectives of secondary vocational schools, and improve the effectiveness of secondary vocational education and teaching. As a learning model under the guidance of constructivism theory,Project-based learning is gradually being favored by secondary vocational schools and teachers.Project-based learning is committed to cultivating students' comprehensive ability and has a high degree of consistency with the training objectives of secondary vocational schools. It is in line with the characteristics of contemporary secondary school students'learning and can promote the reform of secondary vocational education. It is an effective way to cultivate skilled personnel. However, there are some problems in the actual teaching application. Therefore, how to better use Project-based learning in secondary vocational colleges to promote the development of secondary vocational colleges is the focus of this study.Firstly, through the review of relevant literature and educational practice, this research concludes the problems in the implementation and application of Project-based learning in secondary vocational colleges. For example, the project design is unscientific, the project implementation process, the project evaluation dimension and the evaluation method is uni vocal. The students' interest in learning is not enough, the project works are difficult to complete, and teaching efficiency is inefficient. Therefore,at the stage of model construction, the author has fully considered the training objectives of secondary vocational schools on the basis of the existing project-based learning implementation process, combined with the characteristics of the skills-based curriculum in secondary vocational colleges, and based on constructivist learning theory and multiple intelligence theory.A Project-based learning model suitable for the skills-based curriculum in secondary vocational colleges was constructed and the model was elaborated. At the teaching experiment stage, this study selected two parallel classes of the 16 electromechanical(1)classes and(2)classes of the Shangluo Vocational and Technical College as the research subjects, and took the "Computer Application Basics"course as an example for Project-based learing design.a learning environment for implementation. In the effect analysis stage, the experimental research method is used to analyze the learner's learning from the two aspects of knowledge skills and comprehensive ability, specifically the students' test scores, interest in learning, and computer skills,to verify the effectiveness of project-based learning. From the results of the analysis,it can be concluded that the project-based learning of the skills-based curriculum in secondary vocational colleges can not only promote students' interest in learning but also improve students' computer skills, while ensuring that students master the knowledge content that project-based learning requires. Finally, through the implementation of project-based learning and the analysis of its effects, some suggestions for improving the project-based learning model have been put forward so as to provide reference and assistance for project-based learning in other disciplines of secondary vocational schools.
