| The high level control of teacher in kindergarten drama activities often ignores the child’s subjectivity which leads to the value of drama activities cannot be fully realized.This study attempts to carry out drama activities based on constructivism and situational cognition and learning theories,with the children’s independent construction of drama experience as the core goal,to achieve the abdications of teachers and improve of children’s learning quality.In this study,a practical research method was used to in the drama "Little Rat’s Little Tank Top" in the middle class of H Kindergarte.The purpose was to give full play to children’s autonomy and allow children to participate as much as possible in the entire process.Thought facing with the problems in the specific situation and the process of solving the problems,they may obtain multi-faceted development.The research team which is consists of the principal and middle-school teachers,designed and implemented this drama.Focusing on the goal of self-construction of children,the theatrical activities are divided into three stages:the familiar story stage,the story table performance stage,and the theatrical performance stage.Each stage focuses on the design and implementation of theatrical activities around a certain aspect of children’s autonomous learning ability to achieve the goals of each stage.The first stage aims to promote the awakening of children ’ s self-awareness,initially change children ’ s way of thinking and familiarize with the storyline.In the second stage,teachers help children learn how to reflect and evaluate through language instruction and material guidance to enhance their experience and learning ability.Stages help children learn to make plans make plans for the whole stage performances,which can enhance their ability to learn independently further.The researcher summarized the practical experience of the drama "Little Rat’s Little Tank Top" and put forward educational suggestions from the selection of dramatic play scripts and the organization and guidance of drama activities.The selection of the script:it needs to meet the child’s age characteristics;close to the child’s life;the theme of the drama has a positive meaning;there is a certain amount of interest.Screenplay analysis:The suitability of the script can be analyzed from themes,scenarios,plots,roles,languages,and major contradictions.The drama activities organization:There are three ways to organize drama activities-teacher guide,teacher-child synchronization,and child-directed.The teaching strategies of drama activities:We need to based on children’s experience;respect children’s ideas and give children space for independence;create situations,provide support for children’s independent construction,and guide children to carry out effective reflective and evaluation. |
