"Di Zi Gui" is a Confucian reading material from China,in the recent years it has emerge in the education system in Indonesia.Not only it entered the basic education system,but it also entered the early childhood education.Therefore the research aim was to find out,why is the "Di Zi Guis" which has been controversial and questioned in China today has now become a teaching material for early childhood education in Indonesia?This phenomenon is worth exploring.This study adopts the method of literature and case study,which were used to investigate,describe,and analyze the teaching of "Di Zi Gui" in Indonesian kindergarten.The results of the study are presented in three aspects:First,is the analysis of Indonesia's background and the background into Indonesia's educational system and which includes the entering and spreading of "Di Zi Gui" in Indonesia;Second,is an overview of the teaching activities of "Di Zi Gui" in S Kindergarten as well as the overview of the teaching concept of "Di Zi Gui" by the headmaster,the teachers and parents;Third,is the summary of the reasons for the acceptance of "Di Zi Gui" in Indonesia,This study also analyzed the reasons for this phenomenon and results found that "Di Zi Gui" was accepted in Indonesia due to religious,cultural and educational factors.Finally,this study also put forward some suggestion such as providing recommendations for the teaching of "Di Zi Gui",providing advice on the curriculum of moral education in Indonesia and provide advice for future research of "Di Zi Gui"in early childhood education in Indonesia.
