This article is about a method of qualitative research:a practical study on the application in the group of preschool teachers.Through the study of the relevant literature,we can find that the existing research contents of teacher education in China are complex and extensive.However,they overlook the growth of teachers since they are individual life,and pay little attention to teacher as a whole one.In the educational research methods,research methods are based on art education as an important but it's neglected.Art is considered as a supplement of the scientific analysis,and it can promote the rational technical research to humanistic care.The purpose of this study is to explore the theory of the method of teacher growth based on art,and to apply the theory to the group of preschool teachers.This paper explores the practical course of preschool teachers' growth based on art.The research is mainly divided into two parts,the first part is to carding and constructing A/r/tography theory.This study combs the relevant research on A/r/tography,understands the current research situation at home and abroad,and preliminarily constructs the background and theoretical basis,basic connotation,value characteristics and practical application of A/r/tography theory system.A/r/tography is an assemblage of new words,"A" represents an artist,"R" represents an investigator,"T "represents a teacher,"Ography" represents the art as a carrier(text or image,etc.)to present the research process and results,and the"/" between the three is the "in between",which represents a connection,the three interlaced,and the space for the self-retention between the three.Through establishing a community of practice,researchers can explore and think based on artistic practice,and realize that they have three angles of view and thinking to study and look at life at the same time.The second part is to enter the real education environment,and to establish the practice community with early childhood teachers to explore the practice of A/r/tography.The researcher and two kindergarten art teachers in city N organize as an A/r/tography practice research community,and used the research method of A/r/tography to explore the relationship among the art teachers,the preschool teachers and children in the teaching field.Through the narration of the research process and the analysis of the key growth events and nodes in the process,it shows the growth of the preschool teachers in the practice of A/r/tography:Teachers reconstruct the concept of cognition through the practice of A/R/T,and their multiple identities become clear;establish a link between life and work;Awake its art enthusiasm and work enthusiasm,actively breakthrough and innovate;Feel the various states of life,discover differences in repetition and turn them into productive forces.In addition,this article also presents the experience of the researchers involved in practice:they re-understand the art and feel the promotion of personal life growth.The conclusions of the study are as follows:A/r/tography promotes teachers'self-cognition of personal development;Promote professional identity;Help teachers obtain a new perspective of thinking;Promote continuous creation;Coordinate life and work better;Relieve emotional pressure;Explore the curriculum design;Use multiple teaching resources;Combine life and curriculum;Cooperate in teaching.
