| With the development of preschool education in China,postgraduates preschool teachers are gradually becoming anew group of kindergarten teachers.However,there is a lack of research on the professional growth of postgraduates preschool teachers.Most of the research contents are focused on the challenges and difficulties they face in their professional growth or professional life.However,there are few explanations on the process of individual development,the characteristics of professional growth and individual differences of teachers.Therefore,this study takes a postgraduate preschool teacher in Nanjing who has experienced confusion and difficulties at the beginning of her career and always adheres to educational belief,has the courage to put theory into practice,has her own growth and understanding,and confidently walks on the road of professional autonomy as the case study object This paper attempts to describe the course of her professional growth,present her growth in the past four and a half years as truly as possible,analyze the characteristics of her growth,explore the reasons behind her growth,and summarize her growth experience by adopting qualitative research methods.In the result part,the paper presents the picture of the professional growth of the case teacher by narrating.Firstly,the researcher takes time as the sequence and finds that the professional growth of the case teacher has experienced four periods:the starting point of growth,confusion at the beginning of career,survival efforts and gradual adaptation.Then,2taking the space as the axis,this paper mainly selects the ability of observing and evaluating individual chirdren,planning and implementing educational activities,and communicating and cooperating with parents to show her growth process.The study found that the growth process of case teacher has the following characteristics:From front-line shift to teaching and research,start from the observation ability to drive the growth of other abilities,paid attention to children and paid more attention to the cultivation of teacher-child relationship at the beginning of entry,pays attention to the discussion and communication with teachers,the relationships with older teachers are more equal,constantly has been learning theory,observing and studying children,gradually to the "around children" education practice.These characteristics also reflect the relationship is the foundation,children is the essence,autonomy is the security.In the last part of the study,the influencing factors of the professional growth of the case teacher are discussed.The growth process takes place under the interaction of internal and external factors such as her own "postgraduate" educational background,personality quality,native family,kindergarten project,kindergarten environment and social environment At the end of the paper,it also discusses how teacher professional growth can go better,and puts forward that teacher professional growth should adhere to the position of children,kindergartens should pay attention to the training of new teachers,and preschool teachers with graduate degrees should treat the orientation positively and dialectically. |
