As a staff member with fundamental responsibility for teaching research and guidance in the research organization,the teaching trainers have greatly promoted the improvement of primary and secondary school teachers' quality and profession in China through instructional teaching,teaching quality testing,preparation of teaching materials and teacher training.However,with the deepening of the reform of the basic education curriculum,there has something incompatible with the curriculum reform.Therefore,it is necessary to study the current situation and problems of the teaching trainers and their organization.Based on an interview study of thirteen teaching trainers and teachers,it is found that,the teaching trainers exists as an middle force of teacher education:its external professional orientation is the multiple roles as teachers,researchers and participants;its dynamic performance is the "Integration of research and training" work model;its interpersonal relationship is a two-way adjustable relationship.At the same time,returning to the teacher's own professional development,the teaching trainers have the status of identity proliferation in terms of self-professional identity,and have poor performance in job satisfaction and work planning,which affects its work motivation.From the two perspectives of the organization and the teaching trainers,there are two problems:first,the social role of teaching trainers is doubled and professional development is hindered,and their professional identification are not strong;second,the training organizations are long management and are in lack of communication between departments.The related scientific research funds are not in place.Based on these problems,the study proposes corresponding measures,we believes that the service consciousness of the teaching trainers should be enhanced,the teaching trainers' research awareness and ability should be improved,and the communication and coordination between different research organizations and departments should be strengthened.
