With the development of education and the advancement of curriculum reform,much attention has been paid to the renewal and effective application of teaching methods.Situational teaching plays an important role in stimulating learning interest and deepening their understanding of knowledge points.There are many ways to create situation teaching,combining the characteristics of history subjects,in the history class,the use of documentaries to create teaching situation is more intuitive.This teaching method has been approved by many front-line teachers.Through the analysis of the research status quo,it is found that the research on the application of documentary film in Teaching and Historical Situation Teaching is relatively independent,and the research on the application of documentary film in Historical Situation Teaching is less.This paper attempts to integrate documentary film into the situational teaching of history in junior middle school,and probes into the joint point of the two,as well as the function and method of documentary film when it is applied to the creation of situational teaching.Based on the analysis of the advantages and principles of the application of documentary film to the Situational Teaching of history in junior high school,this paper affirms the teaching value of documentary film,and on this basis,conducts a research on the application of documentary film to Situational Teaching.By using the method of interview and questionnaire,the present situation of the application of documentary film in History Class in junior middle school is found out,and some problems are found,such as too long playing time,improper application links,and lack of guidance and summary,accordingly,the corresponding solution strategy is put forward.Taking Xi Ning No.2Middle School as an example,this paper applies the documentary film to the Seventh Grade History Teaching,and probes into its teaching effect.Through teaching experiments,it is found that the application of documentary film to the teaching of history situation in junior middle school is beneficial to the cultivation of interest in history study,the understanding of difficulties and difficulties,and the implementation of the five core qualities of history subject,the teacher's rational application can obtain the good teaching effect.This paper attempts to arouse attention of teachers to documentary as a teaching resource and the teaching method of historical situation,standardize the selection criteria of documentary,and provide references for the teaching of history teachers in front-line middle schools.At the same time,we hope that through the reasonable application of this teaching method,we can cultivate the interest in the history subject,and still have the motive and the way to understand the history in addition to the course work.
