Boarding school is an important position of the basic education in China,which has always been paid attention to the government and popularized in the whole country.However,due to the particularity of our country's social stratification structure,compared with the boarding schools in big cities,the boarding schools in small cities was differ greatly in educational resources and educational quality,so the management mode is also very different.lower-tier cities boarding schools generally take the traditional examination-oriented education as the idea,everything is centered on achievement,most of the closed management.Under the closed management,students are cut off from the outside world,learning and life are limited to the campus,every day need to maintain a high intensity of learning,spare time activities scarce,at the same time,because the students left home for a long time,resulting in the shortage of family education.Under this mode which is closed management,Does the mental health of middle school students who are experiencing rapid physical and mental development be affected?This study with this question,starting from the state of students' mental health,research Xiushan county x middle school management status and existing problems,and combined with the actual situation,put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the management of boarding.The first chapter gives a basic introduction of x middle school in Xiushan county,focusing on students and teachers.The second chapter begins with the psychological status of boarding students,191 students of x middle school in Xiushan county were investigated to collect relevant data by using MSS MHS compiled by professor Wang Jisheng of Chinese Academy of Sciences as a measurement tool.The data were analyzed and processed by EXCEL and SPSS 18.0 statistical software package.The students were analyzed from 10 dimensions of compulsion,paranoia,hostility,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,learning pressure,emotional fluctuation and psychological imbalance.The analysis points out that the average index of x middle school students in Xiushan county is higher than the national norm,there are mild mental health problems,interpersonal sensitivity,anxiety,learning pressure,emotional volatility four aspects of the problem is more prominent,including the overall state of mental health of girls is worse than boys,the overall state of mental health of students in grade three is the worst,the overall state of mental health of resident students is worse than day students.The third chapter analyzes the reasons according to the students' psychological survey results,the main points are as follows:closed management improves students' sense of security;boarding life develops students' independent ability;the tense educational program increases students' learning pressure and anxiety;long-term away from home causes interpersonal anxiety and emotional instability;mental health education is inadequate.At the end of this article,the author targeted to Xiushan county x middle school puts forward five specific suggestions based on all the survey results and relevant policy information,which mainly include:to change educational concept and improve quality education concept;to innovate management system and method,achieving " seal but not closed";to strengthen the construction of campus culture and carry out a variety of extracurricular activities;to establish the mode of cooperation between family and school and pay attention to the importance of family education;to construct a perfect mental health service system in boarding schools.
