As an important achievement of the reform and innovating of the national educational system,independent colleges have played an important role in the field of higher education along with their rapid development in recent years,and have become an important part of the national higher education development planning.However,in the increasingly fierce competition of the higher education market,independent colleges also faced the unprecedented opportunities and challenges in their further development.To guarantee the stability of teaching staff,and to construct and develop a highly efficient,dynamic and stable army of teaching staff,is the key to the development of independent colleges.Independent colleges need to work hard to improve the compensation system designing,compensation motivation mechanism and performance appraisals,according to the characteristics of their own development,and the fact of their teachers' education structure,title structure and the actual situation of their teaching ability.It is very important for the long-term development of the independent colleges to improve the human resource management mechanism,and establish a good competitive compensation system.This paper take the compensation system of private higher learning institution XW College in Sichuan as the research object.And carried on the earnest analysis of earlier compensation system of XW College,based on the general rule of institutions of higher learning pay theory through the way of handing out questionnaires and carrying interviews.And found its problem.XW college has to establish the perfect performance appraisal system and the system,design out the compensation system for its own development situation in order to match the requests of the development strategies of independent colleges which made by education administrative department of the state.This paper has certain reference value on designing the compensation management and evaluation system of independent colleges.
