Independent college, as one way of public higher education, have cultivated a large number of practical constructive talents for the society, effectively eased the problems of the number and teaching levels of public colleges and universities, and made a certain contribution to the country’s higher education.However, in recent 30 years, independent colleges have also appeared some serious problems in the process of development, so much so that have impacted on their sustained and healthy development, such as the loss of many teachers, the lack of management experience, and not highlighting the campus culture environment, etc. These problems have intensively showed that there are some unreasonable parts in the independent college’s human resource management ways, methods and means. So the human resources management of colleges and universities must emancipate the mind, and gradually shift from the traditional personnel management to human resource management. Only when people are taken as the scarcest resources, can colleges and universities gather excellent talents through the scientific management mechanism and provide powerful manpower support for their own development.This article mainly discusses from the following aspects:to analyze the current situation and main problems of human resource management of independent colleges; to analyze the reasons of the existing problems; to research the main ways to stimulate teachers’creativity and explore the potential of teachers on the basis of actual cases. The first part is introduction, which mainly describes the selected topic’s background, significance and research ideas. The second part mainly discusses the related theory. The third part mainly analyzes the actual cases of human resource management in the independent institute. The fourth part mainly comes up with a solution to the existing problems for A school based on related theories.
