With the "Belt and Road Initiative" proposed,more and more students along the "Belt and Road" countries have come to China to study further.China's Yunnan Province has attracted a large number of Laotian students to enter the education market in Yunnan by virtue of its unique geographical advantages.This has brought new opportunities and challenges for the development of education for overseas students in Yunnan.It is of great significance to study the satisfaction of self-funded overseas students in Laos.Based on the ACSI and ECSI models and related literature,this study constructed Laos' s self-financed overseas student satisfaction model and put forward relevant hypotheses.At the same time,the survey index system was designed to form a questionnaire.Through the survey of satisfaction of Lao students at their own expense who have received academic education at five universities in Kunming,the survey data were obtained,and sample composition statistics,descriptive statistical analysis,specific status analysis,and demographic variable satisfaction analysis were performed.Reliability and validity analysis,structural equation model analysis,and strategic management matrix analysis,and the analysis results are summarized and discussed.The following research results are mainly obtained:1.The Laos national level in Kunming is mostly at the undergraduate level at the self-financed level.Most English students in Laos have unfavorable levels of English and Chinese.Language problems are the main difficulties for Laotian students.2.The level of Chinese and the level of study abroad have a greater impact on the overall satisfaction of Laotian students.3.Satisfaction model The empirical study shows that the foreign student satisfaction index is 3.27,and the percentage system is 65.4 points,which is a medium level.4.In the Laotian student satisfaction model,the improvement of quality perception can both enhance the evaluation of service value of foreign students and improve the degree of satisfaction and favorability of foreign students.Quality perception is an important factor influencing value perception,international student satisfaction and degree of love.5.Through strategic management matrix analysis,it can be found that the three factors that provide language assistance,instruction for entrance,and teacher guidance in the perception of educational service quality are the key content that universities should give priority to.According to the research results,this paper proposes relevant suggestions from the perspectives of emphasizing the perception of international student education service quality and creating a cross-cultural environment,which in turn will promote the development of education for overseas students in our province.
