Study On The Improvement Of Educational Service Quality For International Students In Universities

To serve the international students better is to meet the needs of the internationalization of higher education; the industrialization of education of international students; the promotion of education of international students. Till now, there are few studies on the service quality of international students, so this paper just tries to find out some results of service quality on the base of W University.This paper presents some theories of education service, service quality of higher education and also studies the theory of service quality of international students. On the base of survey and interview of the international students and staffs in W University, this paper shows some suggestions on improving the service quality.In the part of theoretical research, this paper shows the model of service quality and enphasize the importance of student satisfaction in educational service and analyses the factors influencing the service quality.In the part of practical research, this paper designs questionnaires and interviews to analyze the problems in the international student service: the support from the university administration is not enough; the coordinative mechanism of different departments is not complete; the present situation of the staff members serving international students is not ideal enough and there is a shortage of basic mechanism of inspiration and assessment etc. Then this paper summarizes the factors influencing the international student satisfaction.Finally, based on the research, this paper points out that in order to improve the service quality of international students and increase the international student satisfaction, the university administration must pay high attention to the enterprise of international student education; set up an effective service team and establish necessary mechanisms of inspiration and achievement.
