As the saying goes,education is the foundation of national prosperity;Teachers are the foundation of education.With the development of China's education,the society has higher requirements and expectations for teachers,and teachers' professional quality has become an important factor affecting the quality and level of education.In basic education under the background of a new round of mathematics curriculum reform,mathematics learning is very important in the process of children's growth,especially in the elementary education stage,not only teach children number,quantity,the basic concepts,such as geometry more need to cultivate children's ability to apply the mathematics knowledge to solve mathematical problems,to cultivate the scientific and rational attitude.Therefore,the professional quality of primary school mathematics teachers has become the focus of mathematics teacher education and professional development.Starting from the professional characteristics of primary school mathematics teachers,this paper discusses the professional quality of primary school mathematics teachers,analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the professional quality of three primary school mathematics teachers in H City,and puts forward targeted opinions.This study is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction chapter,including: the proposal of the problem,research purpose,research significance,literature review,core concepts,theoretical basis of the research,research ideas and methods.The second part is about the current situation of the professional literacy of primary school mathematics teachers.Firstly,the questionnaire content and interview content were designed.Secondly,mathematics teachers from three primary schools in H city were randomly selected to distribute the questionnaire.Finally,the difference analysis of the status quo of the questionnaire and demographic variables was conducted and the results of the survey data were statistically analyzed.The results show that teachers have a strong sense of professional belief and ethics,but lack a comprehensive understanding of the profession.In terms of professional knowledge,teachers attach importance to the basic theoretical knowledge of primary education and teaching,but their own subject teaching knowledge is not solid enough.In terms of professional ability,teachers lack reflective consciousness in teaching.The third part mainly analyzes the professional quality of elementary mathematics teachers in H city from the primary mathematics teachers' own factors and the environment factors which influence the professional growth of elementary mathematics teachers.The analysis shows that in elementary mathematics teachers themselves,teachers' professional understanding and knowledge are not comprehensive enough,teachers' professional knowledge structure needs to be perfect,teachers' self-development consciousness is not high enough and their reflection is not enough.In terms of the environmental factors affecting the professional growth of primary mathematics teachers,the incentive mechanism and policy of the education department for primary mathematics teachers are insufficient,the content of teachers' training in schools is not effective,the training system is not perfect,the assessment and evaluation of teachers in schools is monotonous and the teaching tasks of teachers in schools are too heavy.The fourth part mainly discusses the factors of primary school mathematics teachers themselves and the environmental factors that affect the professional growth of primary school mathematics teachers,and puts forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures.In the primary school mathematics teacher's own factor,the teacher should perfect the teacher's moral cultivation;Strengthen professional learning;Strengthen self-development consciousness;Cultivate the consciousness of educational reflection.In terms of the environmental factors affecting the professional growth of primary school mathematics teachers,relevant departments should establish teacher incentive mechanisms,and schools should base themselves on the teaching practice.The school should perfect the teacher assessment system;Pay attention to the professional development of primary school mathematics teachers;Finally,it needs the support of training policies of normal universities.
