Paying attention to knowledge imparting and focusing on developing various abilities of students has become the consensus of physics teachers in physics teaching.Creative thinking is a very important part in the various abilities of students.Although the continuous exploration of educators has made theoretical and practical progress in the cultivation of creative thinking,it is still not perfect,especially in the use of the history of physics to cultivate middle school students' creative thinking.In this paper,a variety of educational research methods such as literature analysis,content analysis and case study are adopted to study the theoretical and practical problems of the combination of the history of physics and the cultivation of creative thinking.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the importance of creative thinking ability from the needs of social development and personal development.It also points out that the history of physics is a good carrier to cultivate the creative thinking of middle school students.Meanwhile,the research status,contents and methods of the research are also expounded.The second part is the theoretical foundation of cultivating middle school students' creative thinking.First,the concept,characteristics and basic forms of creativity and creative thinking are expounded.Secondly,the characteristics of creative thinking and the necessity of cultivating middle school students' creative thinking are discussed.Finally,this paper analyzes the factors that influence the cultivation of middle school students' creative thinking from three aspects: students' cognitive characteristics,personality psychology quality and teacher quality.The third part is the theoretical exploration of cultivating middle school students' creative thinking by the history of physics.First,the concept and development of the history of physics are briefly described.Secondly,the creative thinking factors in the history of physics are analyzed from two aspects: the basic forms of creative thinking and the factors affecting the creative thinking.Then it expounds the advantages and ways of cultivating middle school students' creative thinking by using the history of physics.The fourth part is the way and teaching mode to cultivate middle school students' creative thinking by using the history of physics.First,it expounds the way of cultivating middle school students' creative thinking by using the history of physics.Then,on the basis of studying and summarizing the previous research,four kinds of teaching mode are put forward to cultivate the creative thinking of middle school students by the history of physics.We hope that the teaching practice of combining the history of physics and creative thinking is more scientific and operable.The fifth part is the teaching practice research of cultivating middle school students' creative thinking by using the history of physics.First,the teaching designs of some junior middle school physics demonstration lessons in Qingdao from 2004 to 2017 are analyzed,and we learn about the present teaching situation of cultivating students' creative thinking by using the history of physics.Secondly,based on the above analysis,two teaching designs are provided for cultivating students' creative thinking by using the history of physics.
