Questions are beginning and resources of innovation.Discovery of questions gives birth to all invention and innovation.Both asking questions and discovery of questions demand strong question awareness.Question awareness is not only the premise of acquiring knowledge for learners,the start and impetus of teachers’ teaching,but also the throughout main line for teaching activity.Since the implementation of new curriculum reform,politics teaching in high school has been improved outstandingly.However,traditional main teaching strategies such as dumping strategy haven’t withdrawn from high school political classroom completely.Then students are like big jars to receive knowledge passively.Their doubts are less and less.Their question awareness is getting lower and lower.Therefore,the merit of innovation for students is hardly to be nurtured,which is against the concept of overall development of students advocated by new curriculum reform.The 21st century calls for talents possessing the spirit of innovation.As future constructors and career successors,students’ ability of innovation has direct relations to the future and destiny of the whole country.Therefore,bringing up students’ question awareness is every educator’s compulsory duty.This paper first defines the concepts of "problem" and "problem awareness",and explains the theoretical basis of the cultivation of problem awareness.This paper demonstrates the necessity and importance of the cultivation of problem awareness for the study of ideological and political course in senior high school.Using questionnaires,interviews and other forms,combined with classroom observation,the study of senior high school students in the ideological and political study of the status quo of problem awareness,summed up the lack of problem awareness of senior high school students:dare not ask,unwilling to ask,will not ask.The reasons are analyzed from three aspects:students,teachers and various views of evaluation.According to the existing problems,this paper puts forward the ways to promote the problem awareness of high school students’ ideological and political lesson:to create a relaxed psychological environment,to enrich teaching forms,to teach students methods,and to optimize the evaluation mechanism.The author expects that through the study of this article,it can arouse the attention of educators to the cultivation of problem awareness of high school students in ideological and political lessons,cultivate students with the courage to ask,develop the habit of asking questions,and form the ability to ask questions.And then effectively enhance the political core literacy of students.
