The high school stage is a key period for individuals to transition from children to adults.Studying the information needs of high school students is of great significance to the construction of talent teams in China.This paper takes the sample survey data of high school students in Harbin No.9 Middle School and Heilongjiang Experimental High School as the data source,guided by the basic theories of information needs and group psychology,combined with the current situation of high school students in Harbin,the information needs of high school students.Questionnaire survey was conducted to analyze the information needs of high school students in Harbin according to the statistical results of the questionnaire and the interview method,library borrowing data analysis method and observation method,and provide suggestions for high school students' information service work according to the existing problems.The survey results show that the high school students group is a special and large group.Their thinking,emotion,cognition,personality and other aspects are developing rapidly,the information demand is strong,the information environment is single,and the information demand between the peer groups is greatly affected.The perspective of psychology analyzes the influencing factors of information demand and proposes relevant suggestions in a targeted manner,which is conducive to improving the information quality of the entire high school student group.
