Research On The Problems Existing In Consular Work In Senior High Schools And Their Solutions

This article takes an International Senior School for example.The international school was established since 1995,which implemented the boarding management and the combination of school management and teaching management.But effected by the time,content,pressure and other factors,the result for teachers' management to students is unsatisfactory.In view of this situation,a new management mode,a separation between the students management and teaching management was proposed.The teaching staff specialized in teaching and the Counselor specialized in the students management,which including to assist the students to specify the goal of life,plan the studies,cultivate the good habit for both study and daily life,provide the psychological counselling and the university guide and the service for studying abroad etc.This article integrated both of the Chinese and Western philosophy of education,analyzed of psychological characteristics of teenagers in the new area and the growing demand.It also develop a new way of moral education-Counselor program,which based on cultivating the world citizens and the elite international.But the development of Counselor program is not going smoothly as it expected.Because of the frequently turnover of the Counselor,the Counselor management for students are always out of the rails.Some of the Counselor are in poor state for the following insects as working time,salary,strength,pressure and so on,which leading to the poor working efficiency and the slow development of the professional of the Counselor program.A systematic study on the daily management and optimizing measure of the Counselor can benefit the future development of this school.It also provide some good reference for the other education institutions.The introduction outlines the research background,research purpose,research status and research innovation.The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the related concepts of Counselor and defines the Counselor,Counselor program,the routine management and Counselor specificity.The second chapter investigates the current situation of Counselor management,which mainly aimed at the background of the counselor,the problems in routine management and the counselor program and it also analyzed from school,the family,the students and the counselor.Finally,on the basis of the research,the author puts forward the optimization countermeasures from the aspects of school system optimization,the aspects of guiding students to achieve self-management.Evaluation and rewards,penalties and other aspects of counselor work to optimize the countermeasures.
