This article mainly uses the literature method and the observation method,starts with Zhang Jian’s educational thought and then analyzes and studies the Chinese educational thought contained,hoping to enlighten the current Chinese teaching and practice.This article is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the origin,purpose,significance and research status of the Research.In the second part,the background of Zhang Jian’s educational thought is analyzed.Zhang Jian’s educational thought was influenced by the society back then.Due to the impact of Western ideas,the educational situation in modern China underwent great changes,with educational institutions and the system of schooling improving gradually and educational content and theories becoming more and more perfect.At the same time,Zhang Jian’s educational thought was also influenced by his family.On the one hand,as a son,he accepted his parents ’ family education.On the other,he also gave family education to his children.Under this dual background,Zhang Jian applied theory to practice and finally formed his own educational thought.Zhang Jian’s Educational thought is aimed at developing industry to serve the nation and popularizing education,with morality,intelligence and physique being the principal part of educational content.Zhang Jian,with an educational concept of tolerance and coexistence,left an indelible mark on the history of modern Chinese Education.In the third part,the author mainly analyzes Zhang Jian’s thought of Chinese Education.In the content of education,Zhang Jian distinguishes Chinese from the traditional sinology,emphasizing the basic and instrumental nature of Chinese language.He attaches great importance to writing.He doesn’t deny the art of articles,but lays more emphasis on the general application of articles.At the same time,he also notices the great function of traditional classics in shaping the social morality.Therefore,he advocates reading classics.In the educational method,Zhang Jian is strict with students and teachers,and encourages students to study hard through the system of rewards and punishments.Writing being the core of Chinese language,he requires that students should keep practicing,and try to make progress gradually.Teaching objectives are set according to the actual ability of different students.Through the analyses of the problems existing in the modern Chinese teaching,the last part focuses on the inspiration of Zhang Jian’s educational thought to modern Chinese teaching from the aspects of reading instruction,composition teaching and aesthetic education...
