The Teaching Guideline for Preschool Education(Trial)stated that “Kindergartens must put the protection of the lives of young children and their health at the top of their work.” The Learning and Development Guide for Children Aged 3-6 clearly stated that “cultivating young children’s good living and hygiene habits,improving their self-protection ability,and forming their lifelong living ability or civilized lifestyle.” The cultivating of children’s self-protection ability is the basis requirement of children’s growing and the essential requirements for family.Therefore,it is of great significance to research the cultivation of children’s self-protection ability.The author hopes to further enhance the kindergarten teachers’ awareness of cultivating children’s self-protection ability,promote parents to understand children’s self-protection ability,and provide suggestions for the education of children’s self-protection.Based on those purposes,this present study conducts an exploratory practice study on the cultivation of self-protection ability of large-scale children.This study uses literature method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,etc.,and observes the self-protection behavior of children and the education and teaching activities of teachers to understand the cognitive level and behavioral performance of children’s self-protection.Teachers and parents in children The status quo of education in self-protection ability,analysis of the problems and causes of the cultivation of children’s self-protection ability.According to those problems,the author designed and carried out the corresponding self-protection ability training activities for young children,which included educational activities of cultivating children’s self-protection ability from the aspects of children’s life,game activities and self-protection in accidents.Through the exploration of practice-reflection-re-practice-rethinking activities,Suggestions on the development of children’s self-protection ability: 1.Kindergarten.(1).Strengthen teacher training in self-protection education for young children and enrich teachers’ knowledge and skills in self-protection education;(2).Making full use of parents and community resources to cultivate children’s self-protection ability;(3).Monthly escape drills for accidents and natural disasters,and basic child movement training to help children develop basic escape skills.2.Teachers.(1).Consciously attach great importance to the cultivation of children’s self-protection ability,implement and strengthen activities;(2).Strengthening the sensitivity of self-protection education materials in children’s life;(3).Be good at observing,find and tap self-protection education resources from the daily life of young children;(4).Encourage young children to try to play the role of children’s subjectivity and enhance the child’s experience when carrying out self-protection ability training activities;(5).Designed to meet the outdoor activities of the children’s recent development zone,encourage children to explore and cultivate the brave spirit of young children;(6).Adopt a scientific and effective approach to education guidance;(7).Master communication skills and strive for parental support and cooperation.3.Parents.(1).Enrich the knowledge and skills of young children’s self-protection skills;(2).Learning scientific and effective methods for children’s self-protection education;(3).Strengthening random education on self-help and self-care for young children in family education;(4).Clearly knowing their position in home-school cooperation and actively cooperating with kindergarten.4.Homeland clubs.(1).Kindergarten,family,and community are interconnected,maintain communication,and form an educational synergy;(2).Teachers should have a strong sense of responsibility and role awareness;(3).Teachers must have a strong sense of responsibility and role,take the initiative to serve the parents,and give parents effective help.
