With the continuous development of society,mathematics has gradually penetrated into various fields of social life.It is clearly stated that the cultivation of students' mathematics application consciousness should be regarded as an important content in the overall goal of the mathematics curriculum in the "Full-time Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards"(2011 edition)which was issued by the Ministry of Education.Nowadays the cultivation of mathematics application consciousness has been received more and more attention from the field of mathematics education.So many experts and scholars become to do research in the consciousness of mathematics application.However,through the actual investigation,it is found that there are still many deficiencies in the mathematics application consciousness teaching of the current school mathematics teaching process.The students are lack of mathematics application consciousness so that the improvement of mathematics application ability is insufficient.Therefore,this study selected XX school junior high school students as the main research object,using literature research method,questionnaire survey method and comprehensive analysis method to study the status quo of students' mathematics application consciousness.Through actual research,the XX school junior high school students' knowledge of mathematics,the related situation of students' mathematics application,students' perception of the school's mathematics application awareness training,and the test results of students' mathematics application ability were collected.Through the research and analysis of the data obtained from the survey,the factors affecting the mathematics application consciousness of junior high school students are various,including the teaching materials and curriculum factors,as well as the teachers and teaching factors,as well as the evaluation system,the students themselves and family and social factors.Based on the actual situation,this study is based on the requirements of junior high school mathematics teaching and the actual situation of students in the context of the new curriculum reform,and puts forward the strategy of cultivating junior high school students' mathematics application consciousness: Firstly,actively change the teaching concept and improve the quality of teachers;Secondly,encourage students to stimulate students' interest in learning;Thirdly,guide students to correctly understand the application value of mathematics knowledge;Fourthly,establish a scientific and reasonable teaching evaluation system.It is hoped that it can play a positive role in the cultivation of mathematics application awareness and improve the ability of junior high school students' mathematics application.
