The traditional student evaluation pays too much attention to students' academic performance,places undue emphasis on the scores of students and neglects other aspects of students' development,which does harm to students' physical and mental health.Therefore,the voice for changing the evaluation of only focusing on students' academic performance and emphasizing discrimination and selection is higher and higher.As a breakthrough point in the reform of basic education evaluation,Shanghai took the lead in launching the pilot project of the grading system.Relevant documents have been promulgated one after another.Since 2013,grading evaluation has been strictly implemented in primary schools in Shanghai,and expanded to the senior classes in 2016,so as to implement all aspects.Grading evaluation has not been put forward for a long time.As a new thing,What exactly is the grade system evaluation in the process of implementation? Are there any problems and confusions in the process? Has the advantage of grade system evaluation been brought into play?Therefore,the situation of grade system evaluation has become a topic of concern to the author.Under the guidance of previous research,it takes grading evaluation as the research object,through reading literature,and constructs the basic framework for the implementation of grading evaluation in primary schools in Shanghai.In terms of teachers' attitudes,understanding and implement,and based on the questionnaire and interview outline,the primary school teachers in Shanghai are investigated to know the current situation of grading evaluation.Then I find some questions and difficulties and provide some suggestions to improve the grading evaluation,meanwhile it could enrich and expand the relevant evaluation research.This study is helpful to change the evaluation concept and method,make the best of the function of grading evaluation,promote the comprehensive development of students and improve their comprehensive quality.The full text is divided into six parts.The first chapter—Introduction,mainly introduces the research background,purpose,significance,research status and methods.The second chapter— the Core Concepts and Theoretical Principles.On the basis of previous studies,the concepts of the grading evaluation and the grading evaluation in Shanghai are defined respectively,and the SOLO classification theory and multiple intelligence theory are elaborated.The third chapter—Investigation and Research Design on the Implementation ofGrading Evaluation in Primary Schools in Shanghai,clarifies the purpose,the tools(questionnaire and interviews)of the research and the collection of data.The fourth chapter—the Results and Analysis,the results will be presented and analyzed in detail in the form of text,tables and charts by SPSS analysis software.The sixth chapter—the Problems and Expectation,puts forward the conclusion and shortcomings,and make prospects.Through investigation and research,it is found that teachers have good att-itudes and understanding of grading evaluation,but there are still some problems in the implementation: the grading evaluation's concept needs to change;its criterion are vague;it becomes a mere formality;the fairness of its results is questioned and the way of feedback is unreasonable.In order to solve above problems,I put forward some suggestions from the perspective of schools and teachers.Among them,the suggestions for schools include organizing teachers to strengthen their learning,formulating more objective and scientific evaluation criteria,developing software to facilitate the scientific development of grade evaluation,establishing evaluation mechanism for teachers' development,and giving teachers suggestions including practicing the concept of grade evalu-ation,active learning and other knowledge related to grade evaluation,and im-proving the practical operation of grade evaluation.Strengthen the use of post-grade comments.
