Research On The Training Of College Students' Track And Field Referees Based On Competence

With the increasing development of international track and field events and the shortage of high-quality professionals,the success of all levels of track and field events,the status quo is more dependent on the referee's knowledge,technology,on-site performance and other comprehensive ability.Colleges and universities are important bases for cultivating reserve sports talents.All the time,colleges and universities have strong teaching staff,advanced teaching concepts and teaching equipment,which make colleges and universities show obvious advantages in cultivating sports professionals.Sports referees,as sports professionals,are highly professional.This study applies the competency theory,an important human resource management method,to the field of college students' track and field referee,explores the model of college students' track and field referee's competency,and proposes corresponding countermeasures to the problems existing in college students' track and field referee training based on competency.This study takes the competence of track and field referees as the research object and the track and field referees training students of three universities in Shanghai as the research object.Firstly,the status quo of the referee training of three professional sports colleges in Shanghai was investigated through questionnaire survey.Secondly,the theoretical foundation of the competence model of track and field referees is extracted by the methods of literature review and critical event interview.Then factor analysis and reliability and validity test are carried out on the competency model through questionnaire survey,and the competency model of track and field referees is constructed and verified.Finally,according to the competency model,the existing problems in college track and field judge training are found out and the development countermeasures are proposed.We strive to provide help for the good development of students majoring in sports,and also provide reference and Suggestions for the training of judges in college students' track and field in Shanghai sports colleges and universities.The following conclusions are drawn:The competency model of track and field judges is composed of four dimensions(business ability,professional knowledge,individual characteristics and interpersonal relationship)and 14 basic characteristics.There are some problems in the training of track and field judges in colleges and universities in Shanghai.The students have a small range of majors and limited English proficiency.Lack of practice opportunities,college athletics referees lack of effective management.Based on the competency and aiming at the problems existing in the training of track and field judges in colleges and universities in Shanghai,the following Suggestions are put forward.After the students pass the theoretical assessment,they must also participate in the practice adjudication assessment of fixed track events.The normal performance of the students in the training process is also included in the examination scope.Finally,the total score is obtained by adding up the theoretical performance,normal performance and practical performance,paying more attention to the examination of students' comprehensive ability.In the early selection stage of track and field judge training,the individual characteristics of students should be considered,the professional scope of training students should be expanded,and the development of college students' track and field judge team should be promoted.We will strengthen cooperation between schools and enterprises,and make full use of the resources of classes,competition venues and enterprises(athletics association,event organization and operator)to train high-quality judges for athletics competitions.By establishing a teacher-led and student-dominated association for track and field referees,optimizing the selection,training and evaluation system,strengthening the later management of college students' track and field referees,and standardizing the training process of college students' track and field referees;To establish the college student track and field judge files,realize the comprehensive evaluation of training,assessment,practice,daily performance and promotion,and standardize the daily management of college student track and field judge.
