The characters are the core of the novel,the key to the success of a novel lies in the characterization of its characters.Therefore,the analysis and interpretation of characters in novel teaching are particularly important.However,there are many defects in the interpretation of characters in the actual teaching of primary school novels.It needs to be improved on the basis of learning from the teaching experience of excellent teachers.The author selected the lesson "the poor",the first volume of the sixth grade of primary school,through the repeated observation of the classroom teaching of two senior teachers,refining the successful experience of character analysis in class example teaching,combined with the analysis of relevant literature,this paper puts forward teaching strategies for analyzing characters in novel teaching in primary schools.The main content of this paper is divided into the following three parts:Chapter one is the value and method of character analysis in novel teaching.The novel has the stylistic characteristics of conflict,narrative,fiction and image.The general method of character analysis in novel teaching is to examine the meaning of characters from the perspective of typical environment,grasp the character from the description technique,reveal from development plot,character characteristic.The second chapter is the example analysis of "the poor" in the classroom teaching character interpretation.This paper makes a preliminary introduction of “the poor” from the three aspects of textbook positioning,text interpretation and the introduction of the main lecturer.On the basis of presenting the basic methods of character analysis in the class example teaching of two senior teachers,carry on the thorough evaluation to the lesson example,laying the foundation.for the subsequent refinement.Chapter three is the teaching strategy of character analysis in the teaching of primary school novels.Based on the example analysis,the author puts forward some teaching strategies of character analysis in the teaching of primary school novels,realize the organic combination of inside and outside the textbook text,clarify therelationship between the characters with the help of the story,enrich the character image based on the close reading of the text,deepen the understanding of character image by situational teaching.
