The objectives and implementation suggestions for reading and writing construction of junior Middle School has been clearly proposed in “the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 edition)”.However,in the practical Chinese teaching,most of Chinese teacher pay more attention to reading,but not to writing guidance,and they lack specific and meticulous process guidance for composition.This thesis studies from several parts.Firstly,we designed the questionnaire for students and teachers in Shanghai Sinian Foreign Language Middle School.Based on the results of questionnaire,the current situation of composition teaching in this school,and the gains and losses of composition teaching in the school was analyzed,further we proposed the teaching strategy of "promoting writing by reading” and putting writing teaching into practice.Then,from the "making good use of textbooks,learning with literature" and "writing specific process" two aspects,this thesis elaborates the application of "reading to promote writing" in writing practice.Give specific teaching cases and write out in detail the situation of the teachers in writing teaching.At the same time,it also rethinks on the typicalization of the combination of reading and writing and the application of the concept of writing in writing practice.Based on the writing teaching in Sinian Foreign Language Middle School as an example,and the investigation of the writing teaching situation,the gains and losses of writing teaching was summarized and the pros and cons of writing teaching was analyzed by combining theory with practice.It introduced that the excellent teaches to apply the method "promoting writing by reading” for systematically teaching writing.This thesis introduces how some excellent teachers' applying "reading and promoting writing" to teach writing orderly and systematically.Furthermore,it elaborated several composition method,guided the whole writing process,as well as prepared some teaching materials.We guidance the students' composition by displaying the excellent teaching cases.In order to improve the effectiveness of Chinese composition teaching,we teach the students to activate their thinking hand in hand and to get writing method by standing at the student's point of view.On the other hand,this can also provide writing materials and ideas for teachers and reference teaching cases for experts who study the combination of reading and writing.
