Research On The Status Quo Of The Use Of Learning Tools In Mathematics Classroom Teaching In The Lower Grades Of Elementary School

With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,elementary school mathematics has rich opportunities for development.The new teaching methods and teaching concepts are more scientific and effective,bringing a new mathematical experience to pupils.As an important tool for assisting mathematics teaching,learning tools play a key role in primary mathematics teaching.They are not only conducive to stimulating pupils' learning interest and innovation ability,but also conducive to improving pupils' operational ability,developing pupils' intelligence,cultivating pupils' mathematical literacy,and promoting pupils to devote themselves wholeheartedly to mathematics learning.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and observation.Through consulting and sorting out the relevant literature at home and abroad,it is found that learning aids teaching is not only conducive to the development of students' practical ability and thinking,but also to stimulate students' interest in learning mathematics.Learning aids teaching is also conducive to activating the classroom atmosphere and improving classroom efficiency.Through a questionnaire survey of 536 students in 12 classes of Shanghai H School,18 front-line math teachers(including 10 teachers in the school where the researcher is working and 8 teachers from other schools)were interviewed,and 32 classroom observations were conducted.Data were collected to further understand and study the use of learning tools in lower grade math classes.The researcher found that the use of learning tools in teaching was significant.Teachers have a positive attitude,and students also like to operate learning tools.At the same time,the researcher finds that there are some problems in the use of learning aids in lower grade mathematics classroom teaching.First,learning aids are not valued in lower grade mathematics classroom.On the one hand,the lack of school attention leads to the lack of teaching aids or learning aids,which makes teachers abandon teaching aids.On the other hand,because of teachers' own reasons,learning aids are not valued,such as some teachers' recognition.For learning tools teaching is too time-consuming,and it is not easy to control class without learning tools.Some teachers think that using multimedia courseware is more convenient and easy,so they seldom use learning tools.Secondly,learning tools are used inefficiently in the classroom.On the one hand,learning tools teaching is mostly used in the demonstration class or open class to activate the classroom atmosphere,and in order to operate,they are in the form.This leads to inefficiency,on the one hand,when teachers use learning aids,inefficiency is caused by inadequate guidance,less operation time,and feedback flow after operation.On the other hand,inefficiency is caused by insufficient participation of students in operation.Through the above research,this paper puts forward the effective strategies to solve this problem in the fourth chapter,which mainly includes three aspects: creating a good environment for the use of learning tools,improving teachers' overall use level of learning tools and improving students' enthusiasm for using learning tools.In order to create a good environment for the use of learning tools,this paper puts forward corresponding strategies from enriching the sources of learning tools,encouraging teachers to use learning tools,and providing relevant training for teachers to use learning tools.In the aspect of teachers' overall improvement of the use level of learning aids,different strategies are put forward from the aspects of selecting learning aids,defining the purpose of operation of learning aids,supervising students' standardized use of learning aids,strengthening guidance,diversification of operation,effectively controlling operation time,guiding students to reflect after using learning aids,and combining learning aids with multimedia courseware.In order to improve the enthusiasm of students in using learning aids,this paper puts forward some corresponding strategies from the aspects of guiding students to prepare well before class,establishing study groups,adopting incentive mechanism,improving students' interest and developing good operating habits.It is hoped that the majority of educators,especially the front-line mathematics teachers,will attach importance to the use of learning tools in teaching.It is also hoped that more research ideas will be provided for future researchers to enrich the research results of learning tools.
