The teaching of Chinese reading has has a vital position in the primary school Chinese classroom.However,with the development of society,the traditional teaching method of Chinese reading has not kept up with the growth and development of students,and can not meet the requirements of students for teaching methods in the third stage of primary school.Some experts and scholars innovate the teaching mode of reading and put forward the teaching mode of"thematic reading".This research is based on the constructivist teaching theory and thematic teaching theory.Based on a large number of references,this study uses questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interviews to investigate the current situation of Theme Reading Teaching in the third section of two primary schools in Y city,and to find out the problems and reasons of the current theme reading teaching in the third section of Chinese.This survey is mainly aimed at the understanding,goal design,content selection,teaching resources development,methods and evaluation of Chinese teachers' thematic reading teaching.Based on the survey results and data analysis,it is found that the teachers exist the following problems:lack of reading teaching connotation understanding of the subject matter,teaching goal design is the same with a single text,rarely take the initiative to explore text teaching resources,teaching with only a single text content is given priority to,the lack of "unit guide" teaching mode,evaluation form the examination results the six aspects.The reasons for these problems may be that under the background of exam-oriented education,teachers' reading time and teaching time are insufficient,classroom time is insufficient,and students' reading time is less.It is difficult to implement,because of the rich content of thematic reading teaching;Chinese teaching time is limited,it is difficult to allocate to subject reading;in the teaching process,students' personalized reading experience is neglected.Aiming at the problems existing in the teaching of thematic reading in the third section of primary school,six corresponding countermeasures are put forward.Firstly,teachers are encouraged to improve their understanding of the teaching of thematic reading.Secondly,teachers are encouraged to design goals in accordance with the characteristics of thematic reading teaching.Thirdly,they are encouraged to base their teaching content on text and surpass text.Fourth,teachers fully tap various teaching resources of thematic reading and promote "unit reading guidance".Finally,flexible teaching evaluation is adopted.
