The textbook is the main tool for students to learn and teachers to teach.It is also the main embodiment of the direction of textbook reform and the concept of national education.The importance of textbook is self-evident.After the 21st century,in order to promote the development of education in different regions,China has implemented the "one standard and multiple copies" textbook writing system.There are also many versions of domestic mathematics textbooks,and comparative studies on these textbooks have also been carried out.This paper starts with two regional textbook versions of the textbook,and selects the junior middle school mathematics textbook of Jiangsu Phoenix Science and Technology Press(hereinafter referred to as "Suke version"),which is widely used in Jiangsu Province,and the junior middle school mathematics textbook of Shanghai Science and Technology Publishing Press(hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Science Edition")which is used in most areas of Anhui Province.Two versions of junior middle school mathematics textbook "number and algebra" are taken as the research object.By using the methods of comparative analysis,literature research,content analysis and statistical analysis,this paper compares the compilation style,the presentation mode of curriculum content,exercises,narration,reading materials and mathematical history.Through the comparison,we can get the corresponding thoughts and suggestions,hoping to provide substantive reference for the compilers and users of the two editions of textbooks,and also contribute to the comparative study of domestic textbooks.Through comparison,it is concluded that in terms of module style,Suke version is more problematic,enlightening and it also pays more attention to mathematics activities.The Huke version,the rules are moderate and pay attention to students' knowledge of the degree of mastery.In the style of the chapter,the first chapter of Suke edition is very thoughtful.The first part of the chapter is the title of the chapter summary,which is practical.In terms of section style,the special columns of Huke version are interspersed and Huke version is more flexible than Suke version because of its fixed position.As for the presentation of curriculum content,the Suke version has a more detailed division in the section arrangement of knowledge.The content of Huke version is compact,one section contains more knowledge than Suke version and the continuity of knowledge is strong.For specific knowledge points,the Suke version is good at starting with simple life,and the Huke version is more inclined to introduce problems.Both of which have their own merits.In terms of exercises,both versions of the textbook have noticed the level of difficulty of exercises.The total number of exercises in the Huke version is more than that in the Suke version.The Huke version attach importance to the background color of exercises and is good at using judgment questions,multiple choice questions and calculation questions.On the background of exercises,the number of No-background questions is more than that in Suke version,which shows that Huke version pays more attention to basic knowledge.There are more application questions,drawing questions and open questions in the Suke version,and there are more abundant exercise materials in the Suke version.It also shows that Suke version attaches great importance to the development of mathematical ability.In the aspect of narration,the number of narration in the part of "number and algebra" in the Suke version is obviously more than that in the Huke version.The narration type of Suke version is mainly the prompt type,and the instructions are more detailed.The narration type of huke version is mainly the question enlightenment type,which can promote students'thinking with the help of problems.In the presentation of narration,the fonn of dialogue between the two cartoon characters in Suke version is more vivid.The narrative in Huke version is text box or bookmark form,which is concise and practical,but lacks interesting at the same time.In terms of narration color,the warm color of the Huke version is more appropriate.In terms of reading materials,the number of reading materials in the two versions is similar.The Suke version has a regular reading of each chapter,and the arrangement is more regular.The location of the Huke version reading materials will be determined according to the specific reading content,making the arrangement more flexible.Suke version of the reading material type is more rich,focusing on mathematical thinking and methods.The Huke version focuses on the history of mathematics.This also highlights the fact that the Huke version pays more attention to the basic knowledge.The Suke version of the teaching material attaches more importance to the cultivation of students' mathematical ability.The Suke version focuses on infiltrating the history of mathematics in the form of examples and exercises,while the Huke version shows the history of mathematics in the form of reading materials.However,the two versions of textbooks are less used in the history of mathematics,the types are relatively single and cannot fully play the role of mathematics history.Generally speaking,the two editions of textbooks meet the requirements of curriculum standards,both have highlights and shortcomings.The Suke version keeps pace with the times,highlights the characteristics of the times everywhere,and devotes itself to cultivating innovative talents.The Huke version proceeds from the elementary to the profound and devotes itself to the solid foundation of students' knowledge.Users of textbooks should creatively use textbooks and the stones of other mountains can be used to attack jade.
