E-sports,a derivative of electronic games in the digital media environment,has become a hot sports competition since the general administration of sport of China listed it as the 99th official sports competition in 2003.No matter what kind of sports it contains or the scale of competitions it carries out,it is no less than traditional sports,which attracts many young people nowadays.As a formal sports competition,e-sports has a large audience and covers a wide range of age groups.Beautiful scenes,dazzling skills,drippi.ng battle,a.ll let the audience blood boiling,heart yearning.This darling born in the new era of digital media environment should,of course,can explore the possibility of expanding more dimensions in its viewing experience.Based on the above reasons,this paper focuses on the commercial expansion of e-sports viewing experience in the digital media environment.This paper reviews the development of e-sports and the process of its industrialization since e-sports has been officially listed as a sports competition item.From the earliest red and white machines in the era of electronic games,to online games in the era of Internet,to e-sports competitions on the offline stage,its sports is becoming more and more high,competitive and industrialized.At the same time,it summarizes the integrated innovation of e-sports in the digital media environment.With the development and promotion of digital media technology,it solves many technical problems and also changes the public's cognition of e-sports,so as to expand more dimensions of development.Finally,the paper summarizes the current problems in the development of e-sports,discusses the possible difficulties in the industrialization of e-sports in the future,and looks forward to the possibility of more forms of business expansion in the viewing experience of e-sports,as well as the promotion of its overall industrialization.
