A Research On The System Logic Of The Expansion Of The Coefficient Of A University

With the trend of cross-integration of high-level knowledge on the basis of high differentiation and the entrepreneurial development direction combining the basic theory and practical application of modern universities,the problems of scattered disciplines and strict barriers caused by the excessive number of colleges and universities in China have become increasingly prominent.The in-depth analysis of the process of the change of the coefficient of the hospital is helpful to find the root cause of the problem,and has important practical significance for the optimization and innovation of the grassroots academic organization.This study takes the case of a local comprehensive university,A University in the southeastern province of China,as an example.Through interviewing relevant personnel and reviewing archives,on the basis of combing the evolution of the internal organization of University A,the actors involved in the expansion of the number of A university colleges and their After analyzing the meaning of micro-behavior,the multiple logics in the process of the expansion of A university college are extracted,so as to analyze and interpret the expansion process of the number of colleges.The study found that the number of colleges at University A was expanding with the interaction of the following actors:government,markets,universities,and lower-level academic organizations represented by the department.Higher education policies have always been an important policy tool for our government.The state guides or encourages all universities,including A University,to set or adjust internal faculty organizations in the way they want,through the allocation of resources behind education policies.Unlike the direct administrative instructions of the government,the market's "invisible hand" exerts an influence on the academic organization that undertakes the main functions of education,research and social services within A University through the leveraging of benefits.The newly established school of A University,which is formed by six universities,needs to implement effective management of the school.The adjustment of the structure or layout of the college is one of the paths.As an academic institution that disseminates knowledge,the grassroots academic organizations within A University also need to constantly adapt to the interaction between deep knowledge differentiation and integration,and between foundations and applications.In addition,the faculty and majors at the bottom of the college will hope to break the original pattern due to resources and autonomy,and set up a new college.These participants reflect the institutional logic in their field:the country's tool logic,the market's effectiveness logic,the university's academic,management logic and the administrative logic of the department.The multiple institutional logic interacts in the process of quantitative expansion,which forms both a synergy and a certain conflict.The expansion of the number of colleges at A is the process by which the relevant actors under these logics strive to re-divide the interest intervals for their respective interests.In summary,the expansion of the number of A university colleges is both the result of external logic participation and the logic of academic institutions' own knowledge development.In essence,the change in the number of grassroots academic organizations is the embodiment of the deep-rooted structure of politics,economy,and culture that the university constantly adapts to changes through the adjustment of internal organizations.Only by finding the right balance between internal and external logic can we promote our own Lasting development.
