Analysis Of "Social Shake" Sub-cultural Phenomenon

Today is an era in which multiple cultural forms coexist.With the rapid development and popularization of mobile Internet technology,in the multiple social contexts of transitional society and consumer society,increasingly rich subcultural forms gradually entered people's lives.Subculture was a special way of life to solve practical problems in an imaginative and symbolic way.The phenomenon of ‘social shake' as a subcultural form of youth in small towns,which has suddenly become popular in recent years,was a cultural expression of the young people to address social problems,strongly deserved our attention.Based on the idea of ‘problem solving' in subcultural studies,the analytical paradigm of ‘style-resistance-incorporation' and the theory of ‘post-subcultural capital',this paper used qualitative research as the core research method and collected a large number of first-hand materials by network ethnography and interview method.Combining with the complex and changeable social contexts of our country,this paper analyzed the beginning and end of ‘social shake' subculture phenomenon in three parts: style,style meaning and incorporation,investigated the meaning and essence of ‘social shake' subculture and discussed the future of ‘social shake' subculture.The study found that through the construction of ‘social shake',which helped young people in small towns to release pressure,enjoy equal space,achieve emotional expression,fight for the right of words,resist to reality and realize the construction of their personal and group identities,was an ‘imaginative' solution to the practical problems that were difficult to solve themselves.However,as a marginal culture,even in the seesaw battle of incorporate and was incorporated of the dominant mainstream culture,‘social shake' subculture transformed the subcultural capital into economic capital and social capital by means of commerce and media,objectively promoted the establishment of resistance significance and group segregation,but its fate of going to extinction was still inevitable.
