As the core literacy of research more and more get the attention of international education,Chinese scholars constructed according to the current situation of the development of Chinese students to develop the core quality,issued by the ministry of education should be the essence of the ordinary high school geography curriculum standards(2017 edition)which proposes regional cognitive literacy is one of the four core qualities of geography subject,combined with the regional coordinated development in our country at this stage the importance,regional cognitive literacy training is beneficial to practical solutions of the problem of regional development,and plays an irreplaceable role in the development of students,cognitive literacy cultivation area wide attention by the learning period of geography teachers.Therefore,the investigation of the current situation of regional cognitive literacy training of high school students is helpful to propose targeted teaching strategies for the cultivation of regional cognitive literacy,so as to promote the implementation of core geographic literacy.In the literature on the basis of further study,this article summarizes the regional elements of cognitive literacy,on this basis to design the questionnaire,students select the test and simulation test item test for students,and teachers'interviews together to understand the cultivation of the high school geography cognitive accomplishment present situation,including students'literacy for regional's cognitive level,cognitive factors,teachers and students to develop regional cognitive strategy Suggestions of teaching and cognitive weaknesses,finally based on the results of the investigation conclusion summed up the high school geography cognitive literacy training principles and strategy.The research conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Regional cognitive literacy of high school students needs to be improved.In the questionnaire survey,most students' understanding of the region is not accurate;Only about 5%of the students were able to objectively agree with or question the decision-making in the development of a certain region and put forward the theoretical basis,and the students were able to put forward more feasible opinions on the development of the region.In the test,a considerable part of students' regional cognition level is affected by the lack of solid grasp of basic knowledge,and their overall level needs to be improved.(2)In terms of the influencing factors of regional cognitive literacy,both students and teachers believe that:lack of real experience of the region,poor regional comprehensive thinking,and not solid grasp of basic knowledge have a great impact on students 'level of regional cognitive literacy;In addition,teachers also believe that the level of regional cognitive literacy is related to students 'poor learning transfer ability.(3)In the area of cognitive literacy training strategy,case teaching,practical activity,the use of mind mapping is that most students hope teachers adopt the way of'teaching,the mind map,use of case teaching is teachers often adopt the strategy of regional geography teaching,some teachers are in favor of through the way of practice for the cultivation of the student to carry on the area of cognitive accomplishment.(4)Through the diagnosis and analysis of the students' answers to the test questions,it is concluded that the weak links in the process of students' regional cognition are as follows:the basic knowledge of geography is weak,including the insufficient discrimination of similar basic concepts and the inadequate grasp of factual knowledge;Regional comprehensive thinking is weak;Poor ability to acquire map information.(5)Based on the survey results of teachers and students,the five principles of regional cognitive literacy cultivation are summarized:the principle of subjectivity,the principle of perceptibility,the principle of integrity and the basic principle.According to the principle of cultivation,the paper puts forward the cultivation strategy of regional cognitive literacy:strengthening students' regional understanding through regional division;Through the case teaching strengthens the student to the understanding region method induction;To cultivate the students' regional cognitive quality comprehensively in the practice of geography;To improve students' regional cognition quality by cultivating map reading ability;Strengthen students' regional comprehensive thinking with "thinking first";"Knowledge structuring" strengthens students' learning of basic knowledge.
