In the era of rapid development of information,information technology has gradually received people's attention.Since the new curriculum standard of information technology has proposed a new term for computational thinking,programming related to it has become more and more important,and people have begun to pay attention to the learning of programming languages.However,based on the status quo,the development of secondary school programming elective courses is not optimistic,and even some teachers are difficult to master the teaching content,how to carry out programming elective courses,how to let students concentrate on the program learning,in order to improve students'interest in learning and learning motivation,and ultimately Meeting the expectations of the new curriculum reform experts is still an urgent problem to be solved.To solve the current problem,according to the characteristics of the students and the complexity of the teaching content,it is necessary to appropriately reduce the difficulty of the knowledge points of the elective program,first design simple knowledge,enable students to learn the algorithm teaching method,and enable students to learn and apply it.It is a research focus of this article.With the development of Maker education in full swing,it is now paid attention to at all stages of education.The purpose is to effectively cultivate students'comprehensive quality.The form of Maker education is relatively simple and the threshold for development is relatively low.Therefore,information technology teachers are more willing to engage in Maker education.At the same time,robot education was included in the maker education,so the nation began a wave of robot education,and robotics courses were added to the learning of primary and secondary school students.Based on the current status of program design,this paper combines virtual robots with programming to provide teaching methods for secondary school programming elective courses.At the same time,it improves the status quo of robot education and cultivates students' innovative thinking and innovative ability.This paper reviews the relevant literature,discusses with the frontline tutors and investigates the current status of program design,and draws the existing problems,analyzes the feasibility of virtual robot teaching in the elective course teaching;then,under the guidance of teaching theory,the current program The prevailing status of design elective courses,using virtual teaching methods to apply virtual robots to programming teaching,and exploring the effect in actual teaching;randomly selecting a class as an object during the experiment,using experimental method and questionnaire method The test and the experimental data and questionnaire results obtained by the author are analyzed in detail.The summary results are:the integration of virtual robots and program elective courses can improve students'attitudes towards the elective courses,encourage students to learn,and increase the interest of learning programs.To change students' attitudes towards programming,students can actively learn and self-exploration in the process of learning,and can cultivate students' logical thinking ability.
