In recent years,the development of new technologies such as artificial intelligence has made the importance of programming learning more visible in the information technology curriculum.The State Council issued the "New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan" to propose artificial intelligence related courses in primary and secondary schools to gradually promote programming education..Junior high school programming teaching has long used Visual Basic teaching.For this type of textual programming,students tend to feel boring during the learning process because junior high school students only learn grammar and do not understand the logical structure of programming.In addition,Visual Basic,which is a text-based programming method,is prone to errors in the process of programming,which can easily dampen the enthusiasm of middle school students.Graphical programming uses a graphical interface.There is no hard-to-understand code.Instead,simple splicing of the graphics module is used,which greatly reduces the possibility of code errors during the programming process.In addition,the graphical programming interface is simple and the module is easy to understand.For beginners who are relatively weak,it is more suitable as a starter tool for programming.This article summarizes the current research status of graphical programming at home and abroad,analyzes the learning characteristics of junior middle school students and the feasibility of graphical programming in the application of information technology in middle schools.Through the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the main problems existing in the junior high school program design curriculum,and puts forward the necessity of using graphical programming platform in junior high school program design courses.This study takes the students of the third grade junior high school junior high school attached to Shaanxi Normal University as the research object,applies the graphical programming platform Code.org to the junior high school programming teaching practice,and designs two teaching cases,which are the cyclic structure and function.Learn.Finally,students' satisfaction with the graphical programming platform and their learning attitudes and learning ability before and after the students' experiments were analyzed.This study shows that by applying the graphical programming platform Code.org to the junior high school programming class,most students can accept and use the Code.org platform to compile small games,animations,and other works,inspiring students' interest in programming.It has cultivated the students' logical thinking ability and ability to initiate problem solving,improved the students' initiative in learning,and improved the students' confidence in learning program design.
