Curriculum integration,as a high-frequency vocabulary in the field of curriculum reform research,is a complex curriculum reform practice involving subject content,student experience,and social life.It plays a unique role in the development of students,the promotion of teachers and the construction of school culture.However,in view of the existing research results,theoretical speculation is mostly,and few scholars use empirical methods to present the real situation of school integration.Based on the above reasons,this study will explore the topic of "school curriculum integration" in the field.It mainly answers three basic questions:"The problems of school curriculum integration","The causes of school curriculum integration problems",and "How to improve school integration practices".The author selected the X Primary School of Suzhou City as the case object,adopted the qualitative research method,went into the X Primary School Integration site as the substitute teacher on Feb.27,2018,and carried on the field research for a period of three months.In this process,through interviews,observations,questionnaires,material collection and literature analysis,this paper describes and analyzes the current situation of curriculum integration in case schools from three aspects:school,teacher and student.The research finds that X Primary School has made breakthrough achievements in the integration practice,but there are still urgent problems to be improved.First,the value orientation of integration is biased,neglecting the status of student subject;the second is that the content of integration presents the state of simple collation and the lack of real connection;third,the implementation of integration has external forms and lacks the spiritual essence of integration;The fourth is that the integration evaluation is empty and the standard is vague;the fifth is that the attitude of the participants is hesitant and generally skeptical of curriculum integration.What is the cause of the problem?It is found that the understanding of the integration value,the top-level design of the system,the knowledge of the teachers undefined curriculum integration,and the cooperation among the subjects restrict the effective development of the curriculum integration practice.Based on this,this study attempts to propose the following optimization path.First of all,carry on the complete curriculum integration planning,construct the integration scheme based on the core accomplishment,secondly,promote the teachers undefined curriculum accomplishment in an all-round way,enrich the teachers undefined integrated knowledge ability;Thirdly,create cooperative campus culture and break the barriers of participants.Finally,provide external support for integration to ensure the smooth implementation of integration.
