Open class is an important teaching activity in primary and secondary schools.Under the impetus of curriculum reform,open class is in full swing.Open classes play an important role in teachers' professional development.How does this special type of classes affect students' learning?Therefore,from the perspective of ethical care,this paper focuses on the study of "students' learning gains and losses in open classes",and mainly explores three questions:1.What is the status quo of students' learning gains and losses in open classes?2.What are the reasons for the lack of ethical care in open classes?3.How to improve the open class and make it full of ethical care?Based on the existing research,the concepts of "ethical care","open class","student learning","student learning gains and losses" are defined,and the necessity of studying students' learning in open class from the perspective of ethical care is analyzed.Secondly,according to relevant research and combined with the actual situation of open class,the questionnaire is designed from the four dimensions of learning content,learning motivation,learning interaction and scientific spirit,supplemented by interviews and classroom observation,to comprehensively understand and analyze the students' learning situation in open class.The survey found that open classes have a certain positive impact on students' learning,however,the lack of adequate ethical care of public classes will have some negative impact on students' learning.The author has a dialectical discussion on its two sides,and focuses on the negative impact of the lack of ethical care on students' learning.The results show that open classes play a positive role in students' development to a certain extent:they can promote students' knowledge learning,stimulate students'interest in learning and enhance students' experience of learning rituals.However,improper organization of public classes can not give students sufficient ethical care,which hinders the development of students.Open class organizers may neglect the concern for students' physical and mental experience,moral development and subjectivity,which will have some adverse effects on students' learning and hinder their development.This is mainly reflected in:firstly,teachers' different words and deeds will cause students to have moral cognitive imbalance,resulting in students falling into moral confusion,forming a cognitive attitude that is not conducive to moral development;secondly,teachers' "show" behavior will promote students' show personality,not conducive to students' moral development;thirdly,teachers' control of the classroom will make students' physical and mental development.Exhibition is oppressed;fourth,"praise" missed teaching activities are easy to make students lose themselves,can not find the value of self-existence.Lack of ethical care is the direct cause of these negative impacts,while the utilitarian pursuit of open classes,the unreasonable evaluation system of open classes and the lack of ethical consciousness of teachers are the fundamental reasons hindering the development of students.Finally,the author tries to put forward three suggestions to improve the open class,which are based on the problems,the causes of the problems and the actual teaching pattern of the open class:first,to correctly locate the value of the open class;second,to improve the evaluation system of the open class;third,to enhance the ethical consciousness of teachers.It is hoped that these measures will enable open class teaching to adhere to the fundamental value concept of "for the development of students".
