| The primary school head teacher is the teacher who is fully responsible for class management in primary schools in my country.He is the ideological and moral guide of students,the manager of the daily work of the class,the organizer of class activities,the evaluator of student conduct,and the linker between the school community and parents.The importance of a primary school head teacher is self-evident.A highly competent head teacher can perform well in class management tasks,improve the spirit of the class,and play an exemplary role for students.Therefore,this paper selects the topic from the perspective of "competence of primary school head teachers",selects primary school head teachers,principals,middle-level cadres,education administrators,and parents in Chongqing N District as the survey objects,and then analyzes and draws out strategies to improve the competence of primary school head teachers.First,after consulting relevant books,master’s and doctoral dissertations,and journals,combined with the "Regulations for Primary and Secondary School Head Teachers" and other documents,a questionnaire with six dimensions and a total of 37 questions was formulated,in order to make up for the shortcomings of the questionnaire.Outline of the interview.Secondly,after adopting the literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,we found the basic situation and competence status of the head teacher of primary school in N district of Chongqing.And found out the problems existing in the competence of head teachers in N district primary school in Chongqing:the head teachers’ understanding of management concept is lagging behind,and the management pressure is large;the management of students’ ideological education is insufficient;other problems in the loose management of the class.Interpersonal communication is not smooth;the head teacher is emotionally unstable;the self-achievement motivation of the head teacher is not strong.And the reasons behind the problem are analyzed: First,the education management department lacks the training of the management content of the teacher of normal students;lacks effective pre-job training;lacks the construction of the backbone team of head teachers;In schools,the training methods for head teachers are single and outdated.The return to the head teacher is unreasonable;the evaluation of the head teacher is not implemented well;the lack of spiritual care for the head teacher;the third is the self-aspect of the head teacher,some of the head teachers are older and have lower education;Focus on self-improvement.Finally,according to the further analysis of the problems existing in the competence of primary school head teachers in N District of Chongqing,strategies and countermeasures to improve the competence of primary school head teachers are obtained.Moral style,good service awareness and communication skills,solid professional knowledge,and core literacy standards for innovation and learning ability.This requires class teachers to reposition their roles and readjust their work ideas in the context of the new era.And at the same time put forward specific ways and methods: first,improve the selection and appointment system of class teachers;second,attach importance to the training of class teachers before and after their tenure;it is necessary to normalize the training work,pay attention to the training of backbone class teachers,and carry out training based on core literacy.The third is to formulate evaluation and incentive mechanisms.The teacher mobility system is tilted towards the head teacher,standardizing the payment of allowances and overtime subsidies,appropriately "reducing the burden" of each school and each head teacher,improving the evaluation and professional title evaluation and employment mechanism,paying attention to the physical and mental health of the head teacher,and preventing occupational burnout.The fourth is to promote self-growth;abide by professional ethics,improve teachers’ morality,improve their interpersonal skills,strengthen management theory learning,improve their ability to educate people,and improve their ability to reflect on themselves at work. |
