Recently,China has published the latest research achievement of key competences,named The Key Competences of Chinese Students' Development,which points out a new direction of Chinese education.As one of the six key competences,practicace and innovation is an educational purpose that must be considered in primary school.At the same time,STEM curriculum,as a research hotspot in the field of education,has inherent consistency with the key competence of practicace and innovation.It may be a possible way to cultivate the key competence of practicace and innovation.In order to find and practice the possible way,this research attempts to start from the following three aspects:(1)Combing relevant literature,and make theoretical thinking and framework construction of practice and innovation oriented STEM curriculum designed in primary school;(2)Verifying the feasibility and validity of curriculum design framework through "card boat" STEM curriculum;(3)Summarizing the experience and results of curriculum design and implementation,and putting forward some relevant suggestions.In view of three aspects above,the mian research methods are methods of literature,classroom observation,interview and quasi-experimental research.Firstly,the research will sort out and analyse domestic and foreign literature on STEM curriculum design;clarifiy the meaning,intermediary,target,object and mode of STEM curriculum design,and find the inherent consistency between STEM curriculum and key competemces.Then,the research constructs a variant of the goal model based on the goal model,which combines the situation analysis model and the ADDIE model.This model mainly designs STEM curriculum from the aspects of objectives,evaluation,selection and organization of learning experience,implementation and feedback.According to this model,a practice and innovation oriented STEM curriculum design is preliminarily constructed.When practicing the curriculum,find that teachers' leading is insufficient,group cooperation is insufficient,the curriculum is a little bit difficult,and classroom discipline is a little chaotic,but it can play a role in cultivating key conpetence of practice and innovation.On the basis of feedback,curriculum optimization is carried out.Hoping to solve the problems existing in curriculum design,through the feedback of self-reflection,teacher interviews,questionnaire,students'self-report and student interviews.Through designing and practicing of the curriculum,it is believed that the objectives of practice and innovation oriented STEM curriculum in primary schools should be well considered,the evaluation should focus on development,the content should be carefully selected,and the implementation should rely on social resources actively.
