The comprehensive practical activity curriculum is an important achievement of this curriculum reform,but it is slowly silent in the process of implementation.With the promotion of "core literacy" into the classroom,the Ministry of Education reintroduced the "Comprehensive practical activity Curriculum" in 2017,and promulgated the guiding outline of the Comprehensive practical activity Curriculum in Primary and Middle Schools.There are many breakthroughs between this outline and the guidance of the comprehensive practical activities in the 2001 edition: adding the category of "design and production" and putting forward the goal of "creative materialization".However,due to the long-term implementation of subject courses in our country,It is still difficult to carry out the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in practice,so it is urgent to draw lessons from the advanced curriculum integration technology in the world.As an interdisciplinary course,STEM education is more successful in the world at present.Therefore,this study attempts to apply the "STEM education concept" to the "design and production" comprehensive practical activity curriculum in primary schools in China,in order to construct,apply and modify the curriculum model,so as to provide some references for primary and secondary school teachers to develop and implement the comprehensive practical activity curriculum.This study is mainly divided into three parts: The first part is to widely collect,sort out and analyze the literature of STEM educational concept and comprehensive practical activity curriculum,and make a comprehensive review of its related research at home and abroad.This paper also discusses the theoretical basis of the application of STEM educational concept to the curriculum of "design and production" comprehensive practical activities in China(Chapter 1 to 3).The second part is the construction of the model,based on the basic theory and procedure of design research method and on the basis of STEM education model,this study initially constructs the curriculum design model of "design and production" comprehensive practical activities in primary schools(Chapter 4).The third part is the application and correction of the model.Based on the constructed model,this paper designs the interactive music box,which is a comprehensive practical activity curriculum in primary schools,and selects three schools to implement it.Through three rounds of iterative research,the effect of classroom implementation is analyzed,and then the model is modified(Chapter 5).The research results of this paper are as follows:(1)In theory,the basic principles of curriculum design of primary school "design and production" comprehensive practical activities based on STEM educational concept are constructed,that is,to adhere to the principle of combining scientific inquiry with curriculum value.Adhere to the principle of combining hands-on operation with thinking development,the principle of combining activity serialization with knowledge integration,and the principle of combining display sharing with pluralistic evaluation.(2)Based on the theoretical analysis and model reference,this paper constructs the curriculum design model of "design and production" comprehensive practical activities in primary schools based on the concept of STEM education,which is mainly "one theme,five systems",that is,the activity theme and the principle design system.Target task system,activity sequence system,classroom implementation system,evaluation feedback system.(3)In practice,based on the constructed curriculum design model of comprehensive practical activities,we cooperate with front-line teachers under the guidance of experts.In this study,the corresponding curriculum design is carried out,and the interactive music box course is developed and applied.
