Under the background of information age,all countries are more eager for new era talents with innovation and research capabilities.In line with the development trend of the times,the mathematics education in China has ushered in a new section-"comprehensive and practical"curriculum,aiming to make students comprehensively use the knowledge of each major section of mathematics,even the knowledge and methods of other disciplines to solve practical problems,and cultivate students'awareness of problems,application and innovation.STEM education concep is a kind of interdisciplinary education based on science,technology,engineering and mathematics.It emphasizes the concrete problems in reality,and emphasizes the comprehensive use of knowledge and innovative thinking.Thus,the teaching purpose of mathematics"comprehensive and practical"course in junior high school is consistent with stem education concept.It lays a solid theoretical foundation for the research of"comprehensive and practical"Curriculum in junior high school from the perspective of stem.The main research process is as follows:(1)Firstly,the paper uses literature research to sort out the connotation of relevant core concepts and preliminarily constructs the 5E Teaching Mode for mathematics"comprehensive and practical".(2)Secondly,under the guidance of the theoretical prototype,the author designs a teaching case of plane mosaic,and uses the method of classroom record,questionnaire and interview to cooperate with each other to carry out two rounds of iterative teaching.(3)Finally,according to the implementation suggestions and results,the prototype of teaching mode is iterated and refined.The paper has improved and constructed the 5E~+teaching mode for the"comprehensive and practical"course of mathematics in junior high school,and put forward the relevant teaching suggestions.This paper presents the whole process of the revision,implementation,feedback and iterative modification of teaching mode,which can be used for reference for middle school mathematics teachers in teaching and research.This paper hopes that the 5E~+teaching mode can become a new entry point for mathematics"comprehensive and practical"course to take root.
