The professional The professional development of teachers has become a hot topic in many countries after people realized that teachers’ profession is a specialized profession.The vigorous advancement of education and the improvement of education quality mainly depend on the professional development of teacher groups and individual professional development.The teacher’s personal professional development means the self-realization of teacher’s personal value and the individual’s progressive growth.In order to improve the professional development of teachers,many scholars have studied the professional growth of teachers in order to provide successful experience for other teachers.The research in this paper not only provides the experience for teachers’ professional growth,but also shows the hope and expectation for our rural teachers.The limitation of rural backward resources caused by urban-rural dual structure is not only a hindrance to teachers’ professional growth,but also provides teachers with the opportunity to challenge themselves and growth,and to discover the possible path of growth under the environment of limited resources.In this study,x teachers,who came from pre-service secondary schools and taught in rural areas for 26 years,were investigated and studied for five months through qualitative research methods,and observed subjects were followed daily during the working day.Structural,semi-structural and non-structural interviews were conducted with the study subjects.At the end of the investigation,the author gradually formed the growth track of x teacher in his mind,and summarized and refined the key factors in the personal growth of x teacher according to the behavior characteristics of x teacher "today" and "yesterday".In the case of X teacher’s growth,the general characteristics of x teacher’s behavior are the standardized behavior standard,the criterion as the action limit,and the choice of the action goal with the social value norm as the orientation.With the help of the tutor,the author generalizes the behavior of this characteristic as compliance action,and defines this concept as far as possible in this paper.Therefore,taking the growth track of x teachers as the line,and taking the key events in the growth as the point,this paper analyzes in detail the regulatory actions of the x teachers in the key events of the growth.Summed up the possibility of the growth of rural teachers,that is,in the environment of limited resources compared with the city,teachers can follow the institutional norms down-to-earth,conscientiously do a teacher’s job and "strive to do a better job." Can break through the self and use the limited rural resources to achieve the personal growth of teachers.However,teachers who grow up in accordance with the norms in the system will also have some ethical issues of responsibility.Teachers’ growth was originally for the sake of students’ growth,but it was easy for teachers to become"professional growth’ tools in the planning of institutional norms,resulting in teachers being administrative bureaucrats to fulfill their tasks with due diligence.Realize the planned growth standard,and forget that the teacher is not only an employee,not only a school employee with the status of a teacher,but also a student’s teacher,a teacher with the responsibility of education,and a teacher "for the sake of the students".
