Nowadays,with the development of education,school culture has become one of the hotspots of educational research that researchers pay close attention to.The educational value of school culture is increasingly recognized by schools and society.The theoretical research and practice of school culture are constantly emerging.Every school is carrying out its own construction of school culture.However,in this process,school culture is more regarded as a means,affecting the growth of students under the related rules.In such a wide range of practice,we need to pay attention to the problems in the process of school culture construction,and ask how school culture is generated.From the perspective of Heckman,researcher defines school culture as the values and behavioral patterns followed by all members in the field of school.What's more,the researcher tries to learn the process of acquisition and formation of school groups from the perspective of school culture.In a general sense,it is important to explore the logic and mechanism behind the creation of school culture,which is full of practical value and academic value.This study takes a merged school as a case study.By means of educational anthropology fieldwork,this study makes a deep description and presentation of the school culture's generation.Based on appropriateness,this paper pays attention to the educational practice in order to provide some experience and thoughts for improving the construction of school culture in a general sense.The paper mainly includes five chapters:The first chapter describes the background of the case school,including the location of the school,the material and cultural environment,the group and daily life of the school,depicting the school,highlighting the inherent rules of the school operation.The second,third and fourth chapters are the body of this paper.They discuss the generation,identification and transformation of school values in turn.They are the answers to the core question of how to create school culture.The fifth chapter is the discussion and reflection,combing the conclusions and shortcomings of the study.As the core of school culture,values are influenced by external and internal factors.They are generated through three processes:reflecting on school cultural tradition,analyzing school status and putting forward a common vision.They are internalized by key components of conflict and understanding.After the process of generation and identification,values of school are conducted in the fields of school environment,organizational norms and curriculum settings through the transformation of practice.Values are externalized in the process of "concept-practice",which effectively enters the school field and participates in the operation of the school and maintains a relatively stable state.Generally speaking,the process mechanism of school culture generation includes the generation of values,the recognition of values,the transformation of ideas and practices,and the circulation of the feedback link of practice,which has the characteristics of interaction and renewal.However,it should be noted that the generation of school culture is dynamic rather than consequential.This dynamic process is a process of constant revision through practice.It includes not only the birth,assimilation and transformation of values,but also the interactive generation of emotions,attitudes,ways of thinking and methods of thinking.
