The records in the scientific activities is an important way for children in learning science.And the teachers'understanding of the characteristics of children's records is of great significance to the promotion of scientific activities for children.Through the analysis of the recorded works of children in senior class in scientific activities,combined with the interview method and observation method,this study concludes that the records of children in senior class in scientific activities have the following four characteristics.First,children's understanding of records has certain characteristics,that is,children can understand the meaning of records and the role of records,they can clear record goal,they know records are different from painting,and they also know it is necessary to record in time,etc.Second,the way of children's record has certain characteristics,that is,the color of children's record has certain difference,and the form of children's record has certain similarity.Third,the content of children's record has certain characteristics,that is,they are objective,they have situational difference,they have children's personal feelings color,they recoded information one by one,and the children are easy to miss the basic information.Fourth,the characteristics of children's records in different scientific activities are inconsistent.That is,the records of children in scientific observation activities are rich in sensory record information.First,children's understanding of records:children can understand the meaning of records and the role of records,clear goals of records,know that records are different from painting,know to record in time.Second,the way of children's record:the color of children's record has certain difference,and the form of record has certain similarity.Third,the content of children's records:the content is objective,with situational differences,with children's personal feelings,one by one record information,easy to miss the basic information of the record.Fourth,children's records in different scientific activities:children's records in scientific observation activities are rich in sensory record information;There is a lot of symbolic information in scientific experiment activities.and the symbols recorded by children are uniform and diverse.and the recorded content is process-oriented and result-oriented.In addition,children are willing to operate but unwilling to record.And children's records of scientific conjecture activities are based on their previous experience.Finally,from the collected data,the author analyzed that the characteristics of children's records in senior class are affected by children's cognitive characteristics,children's existing experience,children's individual differences,teachers' lack of correct understanding of children's records,and the limitations of scientific recording activities and records themselves.Combined with the analysis of the reasons,the author puts forward corresponding suggestions from the three aspects of children,teachers and parents,in order to provide some reference for teachers in the design of scientific activities.
