Vocational education is education of 21 st century national key development areas,but the current vocational education is still short of education system,especially it is imbalanced between urban and rural areal.At present,there are many reasons for the limitation of professional development of teachers who are in secondary vocational schools in county.First of all,most of them are aged between 30 and 50 years old,and Some of them don't realize the importance to improve it or lack of understanding about policies and regulations of the professional development.Their academic qualifications are mainly in the undergraduate stage,and few of them have master's degree or above.Firstly,most of teachers' professional titles are identified as first-grade in junior and high middle school.Secondly,many secondary vocational schools in county are not able to support the teachers for further study because of shortage of capital and policies.Thirdly,local government is poor in finance and the local administrations prefer to support the primary,junior and high middle school to develop,rather than do more teffort in developing secondary vocational schools.Finally,a large quantity of people in society have bias on vocational education,witc the thinking of only children with poor grade will go to secondary vocational schools,and ignoring the importance of learning a specific skill.In order to meet the requirements of developing secondary vocational schools in counties under current domestic policies,three solutions are come up with to improve the professional development of teachers.Local governments should fully implement education policies,increase funding for vocational education,and lead school-enterprise cooperation to promote the integration of industry as well as education.Meanwhile,government should propagandize the importance of vocational education to help eliminate discrimination about it.Besides,schools should try to improve management evaluation and incentive system to encourage teachers to improve their professional development.What is more,they should seek for cooperation with enterprises to provide teachers with chances to develop their abilities.Last but not the least,teachers should improve their sense of achievement and set up good career aspirations to dedicated to education.For teacher career development,they should have a concept of lifelong learning and make full use of resources from Internet to study.
