From The Perspective Of Public Service, The Social Work Intervention Of Guangzhou People's Urban Integration

By the end of May 2018,the number of people coming to Guangzhou was about 9.67 million,while 9.12 million people had registered in Guangzhou during the same period.From the point of view of the population,the number of people coming to Guangzhou had exceeded the registered population and became the main group living in Guangzhou.It is not difficult for the migrant personnel to find a job to support their family,but it is not easy for them to really integrate into the local social life and take root in the local city.They need to face many difficulties,such as economic difficulties,social difficulties,psychological pressure adjustment,etc.The various public services provided by the city can help the migrant personnel to get rid of the above difficulties and promote their integration into the city.Therefore,to improve the level of public service and public service system of urban integration of the migrant personnel,and to pay attention to various public service construction of urban integration of the migrant personnel,all these are of great significance to promote the urban integration of the migrant personnel.In this study,through investigating the arrival workers of Dengfeng Street,Baiyun Street,Beijing Street,People's Street,Jianjian Street and Dongshan Street in Yuexiu District,530 questionnaires were sent out and 519 questionnaires were effectively recovered.In-depth interviews were conducted with 20 arrivals in order to present the current situation of urban integration of arrivals and its influencing factors from the perspective of public services,and to explore countermeasures from the perspective of social work combine with the problems.This study found that from the perspective of public service,the main influencing factors of the difficulty of urban integration are the insufficient public service guarantee at the policy level,inadequate service information transmission channels at the social level,differences between local residents and the migrant personnel,cognitive bias of service implementers,and objectivity of public service at the individual level;the differences between the provision and subjective perception,the low recognition of public services by the migrant personnel,and the insufficient development ability of the city integration of the migrant personnel,etc.In view of the existing problems and influencing factors of urban integration of the migrant personnel from the perspective of public services,this paper discusses the countermeasures of improving public services and promoting urban integration of the migrant personnel from the perspective of social work methods.
