Social Work Intervention Of Urban Integration Of Migrant Children From The Perspective Of Strength Theory

In the background of social transformation in our country,a large number of rural population transform into cities and many of them choose to bring their minor children to cities for living and learning,thus migrant children problems arise.It is impossible to help the migrant children integrate into the cities in a short time.Except for the devotion and efforts from the state,government,school and community as well as the families and parents,social work agencies also serve as an effective supplement to promote the urban integration of migrant children.This study,taking the social firm RB as an example,studies how case work intervention and group work activities function as supplementary service for migrant children from the perspective of strength theory and based on the project named “ A Wonderful Picture Book on a White Paper”.Case work service were carried out to help the clients with typical problems;group work or group study mode were used to help migrant children with homogeneity;for those who are in need of social work service but are not found at present,we found them by overnight outreaching and provide professional services.The study aims to offer wide-coverage service to help the migrant children to solve problems and improve ability by making full use of social work intervention and the advantages of migrant children.The service model is a beneficial attempt to promote the urban integration of migrant children and of significance for future work in practice.
