At present,most special education schools for intellectual retardation adopt the single mode of "education + rehabilitation".They lack comprehensive attention to the growth environment of children with mental retardation and the development and utilization of their surrounding resources.They rely more on the national policy funds to maintain their operation,which makes many problems in the growth environment of children with mental retardation difficult to solve.Therefore,as a probationary social worker,the author applies the professional concepts and methods of social work to special education schools.Based on the platform of special education schools,the author effectively connects the family,school and social environment for the growth of children with mental retardation,uses the integrated social work method,and improves the three methods at the same time,so as to make the effects of each intervention mutually reinforcing.Promote and continue to influence the growth environment of children with mental retardation.This paper puts forward the view of school-based social work in special education,forming a trinity model of "education + rehabilitation + social work",relying on the theory and methods of social work specialty,and building the ties among schools,society and students' families.Unlike the social work of ordinary schools,the school-based social work of special education is more extensive and systematic.Social work in general schools mostly serves individual students who have problems or need help,while school-based social work in special education schools serves every mentally handicapped child,and every student needs the intervention of social work.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out school-based social work in special education schools.Environment has an important impact on emotional behavior of children with mental retardation.Based on the theory of social ecosystem,this paper intervenes in the family environment,school environment and social environment of children with mental retardation.Previous questionnaires found that the growth environment of children with mental retardation mainly has the following problems: first,family,most families have low income level;parents' emotional state has an impact on children.Secondly,the schoolenvironment level,school curriculum is difficult to meet the needs of parents and students,and most teachers have negative emotional problems.Third,at the social environment level,the social acceptance of children with mental retardation is low;the relevant policies for the future development of children with mental retardation are not sound.The author found that most of the research on children with mental retardation is from a single dimension of their growth environment.Although the intervention has some effect,it is difficult to maintain the effect because of the lack of attention to the whole.The author observes that there are many factors affecting the growth environment of children with mental retardation.Therefore,this paper adopts the method of integrated social work,based on special education schools,to play the role of special education schools as an advantage platform.Special education schools are not only a gathering place for children with mental retardation,but also a platform for connecting their families and carrying on social resources.Here,social workers can intervene in the family environment,school environment and social environment of students,and improve the different levels of the growth environment of children with mental retardation from a holistic point of view,so as to solve the problems arising from the questionnaires.The effect of intervention promotes each other and forms a virtuous circle.In this paper,the author evaluates the intervention effect of integrated social work methods through interviews.According to interviews with important people around children with mental retardation,it is concluded that there are good interventional effects in the family,school and social environment of children with mental retardation.Parents and special education teachers in this school reflect that some children with mental retardation have changed their own emotions and behaviors in such a good environment,and these three aspects are better.The intervention effects at the environmental level promote each other and form a benign interactive environment system to promote the better growth of children with mental retardation.The article is generally divided into six chapters: The first chapter introduces the topic selection,purpose and significance of the article,as well as domestic and foreign research review.The second chapter defines the relevant concepts and puts forward the related concepts of special education school-based social work and integrated social work.Chapter 3 elaborates onhow to use group,community and resource links to intervene in the family environment of children with mental retardation,and how to change parents' cognition through the theory of empowerment.Chapter four introduces the problems existing in the environment of special education schools and how to improve the campus environment through case study and group work.The fifth chapter uses the methods of resource link and social administration to improve the social environment of mentally retarded children.The sixth chapter summarizes and reflects on the effect of integrated social work intervention,and puts forward the concept of school social work based on special education schools,as well as relevant suggestions.
