Urbanization is an important driving force of China's economic growth and a carrier of economic and social transformation in the process of development. It plays an important role and significance in China's economic development. The promotion of urbanization promotes the efficiency of social production, which is the most direct manifestation of the continuous improvement of the level of productive forces in China, and promotes the rapid transformation of the social structure of our country. In 2017,the urbanization rate of the resident population reached 58.52 percent, and China's urbanization process has entered the middle and late stages. On the road of urbanization, population agglomeration is an important force to drive urban growth. In the process of population aggregation, technology advances, economy grows and cities prosper.Population aggregation is one of the power sources of social development, and has a strong positive correlation with social and economic development.Preliminary study shows:The larger the population agglomeration, the easier it is to disperse the social pressure and motive force, the stronger the social strangeness, the more closed individual and independent calculation can be formed. The more individual utilitarianism is,the higher the economic efficiency of people is;On the contrary, the fewer people, the stronger the social attribute, the weaker the self-interest,the lower the social economic efficiency.Based on the above theoretical analysis, this paper probes into the microcosmic mechanism of population agglomeration affecting economic efficiency from the perspective of behavioral economics. In this paper, using the final game experiment and dictatorial experiment as the main line tool, five different experiments are designed to verify and explore the pro-social behavior of people in social preference.By designing different scenarios to control the related variables, the experiment verifies the prosocial performance of people in different numbers of experiments and how to affect economic efficiency. The experimental results basically accord with the conclusion of pre-study:When the number of people is small, the probability of meeting each other will increase obviously, people will become more familiar with each other with the increase of cooperation times.People are closer to "acquaintance society",subjects show stronger pro-social,but less social efficiency; When the numbers are large, because the probability of people meeting again and cooperating with each other is significantly reduced, people tend to have a temporary,short-term,immediate combination rather than a long-term contract. The relationship between people is often a temporary relationship.People are more concerned about their own income in each transaction. They show more utilitarianism. On the contrary,pro-sociality will be weaker, but economic efficiency will be high. But when the number of people increases to a certain value, the return will no longer have a significant change. The innovation of this paper lies in the use of a new empirical research method, which is different from macro statistical induction and social survey.Behavioral economics is used to study the effect of spatial aggregation of population on the change of microcosmic behavior and how to influence the efficiency.
